Hunters: The Prequel

Hunters: The Prequel

And they were the unlucky ones. They had been chased into the inner region, where one of their party members lost his life to a Desolate Monkey – a powerful Mythic Class Magical Beast with a myriad of abilities. It was a huge beast with the build of a monkey and a snake as its tail. The most disheartening thing about his death was the way he died. He died because two Desolate Monkeys were having a brawl. It just so happened that a tree that had been uprooted due to their battle was flung at their friend, and none of them saw it coming. He died instantly.

I hope that’s not the end end. So many left off pieces of the story all his friends on the other world, all the other gods story lines, he’s only used his blood born weapons and armour twice. Hasn’t even made it out of dreamscape yet. Still have everything in true verse going on while he “asleep”

The monster's fated prey

The monster's fated prey

I looked up and my stomach dropped. Aziel Nightbane. The monster himself. His golden eyes burned down at me with pure hate. Up close he smelled like blood and smoke and something darker that made my wolf stir. “Who are you running from boy?” he growled. His voice was low and rough like gravel under boots. His grip tightened on my arm hard enough to bruise. I gasped for air and forced words out even though my throat felt tight. “Please. I am nothing. Just a slave omega. Let me go and I will disappear. You will never see me again I swear it.”

Carrying a Monster

Carrying a Monster

His smile stiffened. "Why is everyone here? Is this a family meeting?" Then, as if realizing something, he answered his own question, his tone laced with appropriately faked grief. "Is it because of the child?" "Mom, Dad, I know you can't bear to part with the child. I can't bear it either." "But the pup is corrupted by silver toxicity. It's an abomination. Even if we use expensive potions to keep it until birth, it won't survive." "I really can't bear to let Seraphina suffer through ten months of pregnancy only to watch the child die in her arms. That would be too cruel to both the child and Seraphina."

When Monsters Mate

When Monsters Mate

“Bonds complicate things when time stretches endlessly. Most of us form companionships. We feed, we part. We keep emotions out of it.” Leonidas’s brow lifted slightly. “And feeding? Is it always from humans?” I laughed. “You ask that like I’m going to confess something terrible.” “Well?” “No, not always. There are blood banks. Synth options. Rituals. Feeding doesn’t always mean fangs to the neck. We’ve evolved, despite what the stories say.” “But you’ve fed from humans before,” he said. Not a question. An observation. I met his gaze. “Yes.”

The Immortal Emperor Returns

The monkey-liked man wasn't a human but a sea monkey. The sea monkey was a primate. It could cultivate at high speed. In addition, it was cunning and cruel. "As a group of small potatoes, how dare you try to kill me? " The sea monkey's eyes were scarlet and looked very cruel. It showed its sharp teeth. Then it jumped thousands of meters with one leap and rushed toward those experts at the Immortal Level. "Retreat!" The Human Immortals shouted. The sea monkey's cultivation was terrifying. Triplets for the Alpha Triplets

Triplets for the Alpha Triplets

They were fighting with each other, climbing on each other, and biting themselves in the cave—like ferocious cannibals. She snapped her fingers and the tunnel filled with light. “What the bloody hell?” If I had seen these monsters when I was making my choice, I might have thought otherwise. They were vile and most of them were drooling as if they were under the command of Pavlov. “Uncivilized monkeys!” The beasts scuttled round the whole cave and arranged themselves, standing with bowed heads. The cave was endless and I wondered how many more were in there if I could already see hundreds from here. “Any movement from you and into the lake of lava you go!”

Of Men and Monsters

“No, the sea monkey things . . . thing.” “What about it?” We were almost to the house. “Easier if I show you.” “Holy fucking shit,” Matt said, awestruck. I’d made him wait in the hall while I opened the door a crack just to make sure the thing hadn’t escaped. When I opened the door wide enough to let him in, his jaw fell open and his eyes bugged out. “What are you gonna do with it? What if it keeps growing?” “That reminds me, it’s probably hungry. I’m out of the stuff they sent me. What should I feed it?”
