I buried the bag under a mound of snow, marking the spot in my mind. Then I stepped into the clearing, my pulse hammering in my ears as I squared my shoulders and yelled.
“Hey!”
The two guards turned sharply, their eyes narrowing on me. My heart felt like it was trying to punch its way out of my chest, but I held my ground.
“Get off our fucking territory, wolf,” one of them snarled, stepping closer, the sneer on his face daring me to move.
