Artemis POV I woke up in a medieval period-like room. All of the furniture looks so expensive. I can't help but curse when I felt the pain all over my body. My hand is also tied. The tie was a bit stupid because I can quickly take it off. I was wearing a white dress while the wound on my body was clearly visible. I'm not sure if I'm still at the Palais because the design of this room seems different. I winced when I felt how much my arm hurt. I even cringed when I saw that there was a tracker on my foot. I just closed my eyes there. Now, I'm sure I'm still in Zelo's place.

Might as well add that she was hunter royalty after her name. “Boss?” Ella Tristan, one of his mavericks, stood by his cubicle. “Is this a good time?” Swiveling his chair to face her, eager for an escape, he said, “There has never been a better time, Tristan. She nods her head in agreement. “It is my pleasure to meet you Artemis, the first Guardian born of two Guardians.”

My stomach dropped. "What?" He nodded. "I hired investigators to find you after you dared to run from me that morning. It took them a week to find you." Something was slamming hard against my rib cage in a really violent way. I knew what it was. My heart. "I found out who you were—Matteo Leone, a twenty three year old bisexual man, living in your father's house like a prisoner." He leaned forward slightly. "I learned everything about you—your urm... useless family, and your situation within hours of funding you."
