she whispered quietly as she looked around the room. The curiosity and concern overwhelmed me as I looked at my longtime friend. I leaned in close to her and asked just as quietly, “What is it?” “Well,” she began taking another look around the room before continuing. “I have been having dreams as well but not of Laylan, or unicorns, or fairies, or anything like that. I always thought that maybe I just had multiple personalities and the other happened to be a man named Daemon. But recently, I have been dreaming dreams as if they were his memories or something,” she stopped and looked at me.

A buzzing sound started to take over my dream as it slipped away and I woke up from my sleep. I reached to touch my lips like I could feel them swollen from the dream and his taste still present on my lips. The scent of Sandalwood and lavender still lingered in my nose, and I wonder if that was truly how Hunter smells. My wolf began to purr to my assessment of the dream and I had to wonder if she was the one responsible for it. Was Hunter our mate? Could she see our future together?

In Darren’s dream. What is this place? I’m inside a forest and in the distance, I can hear the sound of a river. I get closer and I can see a woman from behind. She is wearing a long red dress and a headdress. After observing her I realize that she may be the goddess of the red moon, the one Nicolette told me about. My hands shake...I hate that woman, if Nicolette thinks she’s a monster it’s because of her. Lightning starts to go through my body, I charge, and when I’m about to hit her. She manages to throw me, without even turning back, away from her.

It’s taxing, always having to be on guard. The worst part is the dreams. Even if I don’t want to, I still dream of her.
