The Witch doctor says assuring them. “Then what are we to do? We just can’t go against her on our own she is too powerful and what is this army you speak of?” The Warlock asks. Conner now speaks up, “My mother has been building an army of Hybrids. Half witch and half wolf. I am one of them and I plan on saving every one of them from her and help them learn to control both sides of them so they can exist in this world as a normal species.” ‘Why haven’t we seen these so-called Hybrids?” The other Warlock asks.

“Let me see him, Cassian. Please.” And then the door behind him creaked open. I froze. A massive figure stepped through, and everything inside me stopped. Leonidas. Not as I knew him. Not the man. The wolf. He was huge and towering. A beast carved from shadow and silver. Thick fur the color of midnight bled into streaks of ash at his sides. His eyes, still the same startling, wild gold, locked on mine. His eyes looked to be in so much pain but maintaining strong restrictions.

Because soon… he would be at my mercy. (People whisper my name with fear. They don’t dare to say it aloud, knowing that even the mention of Damien Alexander Blackwood could send a shiver down their spine. I am the Alpha of the Blood Eclipse Pack, but I am not just any Alpha. I was born a hybrid.... the rarest, most dangerous kind. My mother was a vampire, my father a werewolf, and together, their blood created a monster. A beast that no one could tame. A predator that no one could outrun. I have both the brutal instincts of a wolf and the bloodlust of a vampire. That combination makes me unstoppable.

—the brain of the new world order. "Okay, Myra. Set up the transmitter," I said, my voice shaking. "We’re going to hijack the keynote feed. But the second I plug in, Victor is going to know exactly where we are." Meanwhile, in the Ballroom... Julian stood in the center of the gala, the holographic image of Victor towering over him. The eyes of every billionaire, scientist, and world leader were fixed on the "Monster of Owerri."

Though the monsters that made that sound were terrifying to behold. What I was staring at were creatures that resembled hybrid experiments gone wrong. The monsters were as tall as the trees in the forest. Their arms were so long they used them to walk along with their two legs, like the gorillaens I had once seen in the zoo back at Coven Community.

"Then... The third?" Villa holstered her pistol and wiped a tear "You were merely asleep Rebecca... I stood watching you, wondering when you will shift into that wolf again... Or worse" "Or worse what?" "The hybrid shift" Asena said "Ugly fucking thing, that's why we call it abominations because its a mix between a bat and a wolf" Rebecca looked at her mother again.

With another raise of my hand, the houses in the city caught fire. Smoke rose into the clouds, the grounds shook. After I was done, a place called crest would cease to exist. I heard a very loud growl and looked up to see a gigantic monster, being released. It was coming for me no doubt. It's eyes were burning red and it looked like a hybrid of a dragon and a goblin. It has horns and it's scales were black. It spat a ball of fire that burned everything in it's path. It would destroy the city but make sure it destroyed me too.

He continued like he had not heard her "And watching the Earth, she craved for the freedom, for the waters, for the trees, and on one Blue moon, she summoned the courage to come down, as a wolf, which was one of her earlier creations, at first. Just going around, until a Creature from the deepest parts of hell chased her for dinner. This had gone on for a while till at 12 midnight, the moon goddess had finally turned into her human form, the Creature, marvelling. Long story cut short, they spent the rest of their day together till sunrise. Knowing she must return, and him, away from the light, both never sure of ever seeing again, decided to make a pact. Like we were standing in a completely different world. I looked at Kaeren. “What kind of creatures can’t be compelled by vampires?” I asked. He didn’t hesitate. “Hybrid,” he replied. “Witch and werewolf.” I turned to him immediately. “What?” “Yes,” he repeated. “A hybrid. Someone who carries witch blood and werewolf blood. Vampires cannot easily compel them. Especially if their powers are active.” My heart started beating faster. A hybrid? Cynthia? No. That didn’t make sense.

Even though they aren’t stronger than the Guardians, it makes sense that a strong woman would need a strong man as her mate. I know all about being a strong woman. Before I was conceived, my mother was captured by hunters and scientists who wanted to find ways to destroy the werewolf population. My mother was experimented on, impregnated through in vitro fertilization with an unknown male's sperm. Then, they experimented on her while she was pregnant with me. The result is that I’m a true hybrid. Unlike other hybrid shifters who have a dominant gene and develop into only one type of hybrid, I am both. We didn’t know what I was until I turned ten and had my first shift. It was then that we re
