You can shift into a world but only when you want to, and it is painless unlike us.” He explained to me.

I stretched out my hand in front of me, preventing her from coming closer. "What do you mean? We are one? You're clearly different from me. I'm human, you're a wolf." "I am your wolf." "My wolf? I'm human. I'm not a werewolf." "You are not entirely human. But you are not entirely a werewolf either. You are a mix of both. We call that a hybrid." "Wait, you mean I have both human and wolf blood? But how is that possible? My parents are both human."

My hands itch with the desire to hold them. "Welcome to the Hybrid Room," she announces as she explains the nature of these weapons. "These weapons are a perversion of our wolf abilities. Mixed with powerful witch magic, only hybrids can wield them. If a witch, or a wolf, were to try, they would burn to a crisp." A few elders nod as if remembering something terrible. How many of these older wolves were alive during the Witch Wolf War? They must have been children.

I snapped and said to Kiara, "Did you see or notice anything, Kiara?" "Sincerely, no. Felt like my system was dead. As much as it's a weird thing to say, I only see a faint light in your heart."
