This was Faith's journal. He flipped some more pages. In the beginning, nothing was all that interesting in the book. It was just about daily life. Some of her stories showed that she had a tough life. She wrote about how hard she worked to support her family and her sick father. It wasn't anything new Anthony didn't already know about. His chest felt heavy as he kept reading. Faith's life hadn't been easy. Her father was so cruel to her. So, no wonder she had a hard time trusting men. Trusting him.

I don't know how to go about this kidnapping seeing as it's my first time keeping someone held captive. Im not going to be an evil captor. I'm not gonna tie her up and make her do things she doesn't want to. I'll leave her alone for a week and go from there. There should be a book for kidnapping for dummies. But then everyone would do that and do unthinkable things. I'm not a cruel person, I may or may not have tied her up in the beginning but seeing her weak and dangling frame I didn't want to do that again.

My opinion is fixed. He’s not so bad. I don’t know why he didn’t call the police, but the point is that he didn’t. I know things didn’t work out for me, but I’m not so hateful to think that they all deserve death and misery. At first, I did, but not anymore. I open my book and continue reading it even though I can’t seem to concentrate. I force through it and then in a few moments, I completely forget Damson’s fit and how it made me feel.
