I am a complete loser. I am immobile and irresponsive to whatever is happening to me or around me. I motivate myself not to think about him, then, the sight of a crow decides otherwise. I kept myself busy with loads of work, but the sight of books squeeze my lungs, for, I almost that I could finally attend an art school, live my dream. A song, a black shirt familiar cologne, smell of sweat even if it is my own, rain and coffee, and every speck has now become like guns shooting his memories to break the already broke

I mutter. Because the worst part isn’t Pierre. It isn’t even the heartbreak. It’s the fact that I want to go home so badly my bones ache with it. I miss stupid things suddenly. My apartment. Convenience store ramen. My phone charger that only worked at a certain angle. My mom yelling at me for forgetting laundry in the washing machine. God. I wanna get out of this novel. So I dealt with the heat alone until it passed. Even remembering it now makes my jaw tighten. Lost in thought, I don’t notice where I’m going. I walk straight into someone. The impact makes me stumble back, and the book slips from my hands, falling to the ground. “Oh—I’m sorry. I didn’t see you,” I say quickly, already bending down to pick it up. I'm just leaving the garden after reading. The novel in my hands has completely pulled me in these past few days. It is a romance story, it's full of devotion, softness, the kind of love that chooses you and stays.
