He let go of the beggar's money bag and put on a serious look on his face, "Since my disciple is here, I'll spare you."
The beggar took the money bag and rushed away.
Kelvin and I took a ride back to town together.
On the way back, he asked, "Are you done with thinking about being my disciple?"
Hearing his words, I was moved. I knew it would be a good way out for me.
I looked at him sincerely and said, "Mr. Kelvin, I've thought it over. I'm willing to be your disciple."
"Really?" Kelvin looked at me and said some what worriedly, "Being my disciple means that you have to concentrate on your studies wholeheartedly and that you are not allowed to meet those messy men."
