Cursed by the Gods: Rise of Phoenix

Cursed by the Gods: Rise of Phoenix

If Phoenix were to die then retribution would not be served to those who deserved it. Soon the herbs began to take effect and her eyes began to grow heavy. Before she knew it she was fast asleep. “Sister.” It was a dream she always had and every time it came to her it became even more confusing. It was more of a blur of memories than a dream. In it she could see a beautiful dark-skinned girl who looked exactly like her with thick tresses of white hair, her pupils were grey, almost the same color as the rest of her eyes. She knew the girl was her sister because she called her so every time. The dreams were almost as if Phoenix could see the life of her twin in a flash. She could see her readi

Beautifully Ruined

Beautifully Ruined

He said softly before turning and then went straight to the front door, unlocked it, and closed it softly behind him. As soon as he was out of sight, I lunged for the sink and quickly drew a healthy amount, before gulping the whole liquid down and allowing myself to breathe all the air I failed to inhale in his presence. I slammed the glass on the sink and just stared blankly into it. Just which god or goddess did I offend in my life to be caught up in this mess? Firstly, it was the twins and the drama that followed their golden reign over me, and now

The Alpha’s Dirty Little Secret

The Alpha’s Dirty Little Secret

The creature turned its head toward the Blackwood estate in the distance, its form shimmering with a frequency that made the very air crackle. The twins have claimed the mountain. The Age of the Twins has begun. Bow, or be erased. The eclipse ended. The sun peeked through. The spectral wolf vanished in a violent clap of thunder, leaving Elodie unconscious and freezing in the dirt. Victor looked at his hands. They were glowing.

My High School Romance

My High School Romance

“The title was Taming Sunrise. The story is about twins whose bond was tested when a man named Caleb entered the picture. Dawn, the heroine was a man-hater while Caleb was a girl magnet. These two who has an opposite personality has to cease fire to help the other twin – Dusk with her role. This book is filled with humor, romance and… spicy scenes so I do not recommend it to our young readers.” “I think I have a new book to hunt.” She chuckled. “Now, you mentioned the High School Love Affair earlier which was released last month, it was astonishing to see the progress of your book. It was immediately labeled as sold out in bookstores and was announced as bestseller worldwide. What do you fee

The Triplet's Bullied Mate

The Triplet's Bullied Mate

Elowen’s POV – Twilight Whispers That evening, as the last vestiges of daylight faded into the soft embrace of twilight, the academy’s grounds transformed into a quiet sanctuary. I found myself wandering along a secluded stone path leading to a hidden courtyard, a place that had once been filled with echoes of our past conflicts and now promised a fragile new beginning. The gentle hum of evening stirred in the air—a murmur of crickets, the soft rustle of leaves—and all around, the academy seemed to exhale, releasing the weight of the day.

Her deep soulful eyes stare into mine and I swallow past the ball in my throat and nod in agreement. “I cannot tell you that you will never feel that pain, but you have been blessed with many bonds, some will leave, others will remain. Arly is as much yours as Melissa’s. She brought her into the world and gave her to you to protect. Vitandi is as old as the hills, and I daresay Arly and Lottie will be beside you for many life times. Marcel is as deathless as they come, the man has never known life the way we all know it. He was given to you to make your path bearable, to share the burden and bring light back into your life when loss threatens to darken everything.” Wendy’s wise words make se

Absolutely amazing! I loved both books! The main story arc is very impressive. I love that I can feel the emotions of the characters as I read these books. The best part about this book is how interconnected the characters are to one another. I would definitely recommend both books!!

This book (and the first as well) is awesome!! The author really takes time to develop her characters and story and follows through with all the different story arcs and twists and turns! But, what is the third book in this trilogy?? Am I missing something, or is it not published yet?

Ever. She hissed when she tried to push her body up, and he almost swore. She was in pain; he’d caused it. He’d pushed her virgin body to its limits. For some reason, he could still feel her emotions, like a whisper under his skin. It had to be because he was still near her, and whatever voodoo that had filled the room the past two days still lingered. It was time to get out of there. “Good morning.” She whipped her head around to him when he spoke, surprise flickering on her beautiful face. Big violet eyes, parted lips, a mane of tangled black hair. His breath caught, and he had to force himself to look away.

Frequently Asked Questions

My copy-of-the-book-in-my-bed, midnight-snack kind of brain loves geeking out about this one. The biggest gulf between 'New Moon' the novel and 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' the movie is Bella’s inner world — the book lives inside her head. Stephenie Meyer spends pages on Bella’s grief, the hollowing out when Edward leaves, the slow, dull ache that reshapes her days. In the film, of course, that interiority has to become visual: long, moody shots, a haunting soundtrack, and more emphasis on Jacob’s physical presence and the werewolf pack to show Bella’s loneliness externally.

Because the source material relies so much on thoughts and subtle shifts, the movie compresses or trims subplots and scenes. A lot of small character beats — the little routines that mark Bella’s depression, some of the quieter conversations, and the more detailed timeline of her reckless behavior — get shorter or more cinematic. The Italy sequence is still a convergence point, but the lead-up and emotional layering feel denser on the page. Also, the film turns up the visual drama: pack dynamics, stunts, and the way shots build tension. That appeals to viewers but loses some of the slow-burn melancholy that made the book so resonant for readers.

I also noticed how scenes are reorganized to keep the pacing cinematic. Some supporting characters get less screen time, and certain motivations are simplified so the film can hit its marks. I still love both versions — the book when I want to sink into that aching perspective, and the movie when I’m craving mood, music, and spectacle — but they really do give you different heartbeats of the same story.
