I blushed at the compliment, “Yeah, well I feel like you’re also in your element when you grill me like that. You’re a very believable villain.” He rose from his chair, the muscles in his face tense. He made a full circle around the desk and knelt close enough that I could feel his breath on my cheek, “Don’t be deceived, Amelia.
