“Guess you’re not as informed as you thought.” Storm’s expression twisted into a mask of fury, and I could practically see the gears turning in her head as she tried to process the information. “You don’t deserve it,” she spat, her voice dripping with bitterness. “You’re nothing but a lowly half-breed. The Dawn Institute made a mistake.” I didn’t bother responding. Instead, I simply turned away from her, ignoring the venom in her voice. She wasn’t worth my time or energy. Storm stormed—no pun intended—out of the lab, slamming the door behind her as she went, her footsteps echoing down the hallway.

” Tasha frowned, “Oh, Sir Raven over there is not my brother. Not even related” Not related? How on earth was he… “I don’t care,” Storm snapped standing up from the bed, “I am not going to let anyone dictate my life, tie me down or take advantage of me and whatever my powers are. Not now, not ever” Then she turned to Blue who was staring at her with her arms crossed over his chest…” Mate or not” She spat. “Storm,” She turned around to face the other mana, Raven whose eyes were now red although he was smiling with a very tender expression on his face,”

She'd always fall back on those same words to placate me. Now, I used those words to show my understanding. Yet she suddenly glared at me in anger. "What's with that sarcastic tone? I've explained everything to you. What are you still unhappy about? Pushing your luck, are you?" I responded helplessly, "No, really… I don't think you did anything wrong—" Before I could finish, Joyce slammed the brakes and shouted, "Get out! Get out of the car!" I was confused, but I opened the car door and stepped out.

She loves me and will do anything I ask her to,” he chuckled a bit harder this time. “What’s so God damn funny?” “You, pleading with me, thinking that she sent me. “Well, holy shit. What did that bastard say for himself?” This time, while telling the story, I used far more curse words than I had used with Kael. By the time I finished explaining everything, Stormy sounded ready to kill someone. “That bitch,” she hissed. “If I see Selene, I’m going to beat the shit out of her, I swear to God.” A loud laugh burst out of me, so hard that I struggled to catch my breath. It really was not that funny, but Stormy’s intense anger mixed with all the stress I was carrying made me break into uncontrollable laughter.

~STORM "Where are you coming from?" He asked me, his voice rising. I didn't think I wanted to answer him as I lay there trying to feel better before going up. I yawned really loudly. "I'm talking to you, Stormy! It's not safe out there. Okay, maybe it's safe for citizens; you have no reason to compare yourself to the folks around here. Stay indoors always."
