I Hate To Read Books Novels & Stories

This was one of the reasons I detested romance and I'm sorry, not sorry but I consider people who read romance books, funny people.

I asked, sitting next to her, softly stroking her dark-brown hair. "I hate macarons!" She howled. Seriously? I was flabbergasted at her response. "I thought all children loved macarons..." "Well, I'm not a child. A child always has someone to read her bedtime stories. I always read to myself!" She bellowed. What was she talking about? "Do the servants not read to you?" "How could they? They hardly know who Snow White is or Mulan or Tiana... I hate it when they read to me!" She stomped her feet.

They said in unison. I raised my hands up in surrender, "Jeez. What is wrong with that? At least, it's better than wasting money on clothes." "Yeah, nerds would say that," Joey smirked. I was about to retort back but I stopped myself. If people don't like reading books then it's not my fault.

You are so boring, you should get something more interesting to read not this boring book” He looked at me amusedly and moved closer to me making me rest my back at the shelf. “You are getting books for your exam? Are the books in any way fun to read?” “No, because they are textbooks and textbooks are naturally boring” “So...?” He looked at me questionably. “You aren’t attending any school anymore. No exams to worry about. Why do you even need to read books? This kind for that matter” I scoffed.

I raised my brows to ask her what was that she wanted to have. “Read me a book. A book to make me fall asleep,” she said. It was just a minor wish but it was really great deal for me. I never read any books. I hated reading them. The morality that were written in the books were just some nonsense to me. I never allowed myself to follow it. Romance novels were what I hated the most. They were just the way too cringe. I mean no boy would really love to read them and even if there were some, I wasn’t the one who would love to read such romance books.

There were times I actually felt like dancing to it. Sad thing was, I couldn't dance. Not even break dance. There were times I sat to wonder the talents I was born with but I got nothing. Sure sure, I loved sports but I wasn't creative. I hate reading, most especially reading poetry. I was forced to read Romeo and Juliet in middle school and that made me dislike Shakespeare. It was romantic at some point but they died because of the love they had for each other. Their death was the only way they could be together.

Books are oxygen for the literate. For me, there's no other way to breathe. Breathing comes naturally to living organisms. For a nerd with a perfect attendance record and zero friends, air fills my lungs, and words fill my head. I like filling my head with facts, opinions, and fanfiction. There's nothing better than reading Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings fanfics on a Friday night.

That was the word sitting on my tongue as I stared down at the open book in front of me, my eyes skimming lines I had read at least five times without understanding a single thing. My first semester exams start tomorrow and instead of formulas and theories all I could see were faces I did not want to miss and voices I did not want echoing in my head. I hate them. I hate that I miss him. I hate that I fucking care.

) If you want me to love you forever, just get me movies that have a touch of either horror or comedy all the time. I really want to watch the Harry Potter series too. I haven't, and it's out of fear of being disappointed. I've read all the books in the series, which is out of character for me, and I don't want that initial joy I got from reading the books to turn into sadness and annoyance. Movies have this way of ruining a good book. Another reason I don't read much. I prefer watching the movie than reading, but I'd much rather not watch a poor imitation of a good book. So in order to avoid that disappointment, I don't bother reading the book. So, my actions are pretty smart, right?
