AQUA Once I heard the noise from the living room, I pushed Fawn into the kitchen and locked the door. I kept my focus on Diana as her hands turned warmer and warmer as the clicking sound turned louder and louder in our ears. “Where’s that sound coming from?” Mom hissed as she looked around—on the floor, on the walls, and the ceiling.
