Ashton's POV. Stepmom? That’s a big term. I never really considered Kira, or any of Mr. Jones's numerous women, as my stepmom. I accepted the fact that I have step-siblings, whom I don’t get along with much, but stepmoms? Nah, that’s too much. She must have said those words to piss me off or to actually think of herself as my stepmom. Hilarious. Everything that happened was amusing, silly, wild, and super crazy, but no matter how hard I try to deny it, I can’t. Fucking her was the best. Ryan POV Two weeks off. For everyone else, it was a chance to relax, go home, see their family… or whatever. But not me. For me, breaks meant going back to my step-parents’ house and I hated it. My stepdad didn’t bother me much, but my stepmom did… she had this way of turning every second into a lecture or a lesson. She’d nag about me choosing racing, she'll always say she loves me and she wants a bright future for me, racing wasn't a dream for her. Ugh, the thought alone made me want to disappear. Forget it.

No, you’re so wrong, Eira wanted to tell him. “I wish I could say the same about mine but, no. She treated me awfully. She gave all the things my elder sister asked of and even when I begged, she wouldn’t give them to me. Sure, she completed all my needs… but well,” I wanted her to love me like every mother loves a child. She breathed in a sharp breath and continued, “It doesn’t matter now—she’s gone. And she was my step mom. I intend to find my real one, if she’s still alive.”

“Two days is still better than you not showing up at your brother’s engagement party at all. I’ll see you soon.” I sighed in relief as my mom finally handed the phone over to Ivy and went her merry way to meddle in someone else’s business. I love my mom, trust me, I do, but sometimes she just gets too controlling with other people’s lives. And Ivy and Stephan were the perfect example for that.

I didn’t know if I could live without him. “I don’t want to lose you, Jas. I can’t accept the fact that you will soon be my stepsister.” He caressed my cheeks, his touch sending a jolt of electricity through my body. I say a quick ok, pulling out the driveway, making my way back home. Dad is still not home and my so called step mom is still a bitch. I would stop her but I know my dad loves her.
