I M Just Immortal Novels & Stories

Every day feels like a monotonous existence as I wander aimlessly through the world, disconnected from the joys and passions that once defined me. Nothing can hurt me, and no one can kill me. I am an empty vessel, devoid of emotions and desires. The absence of pain or death has stripped away any sense of urgency or meaning from my existence. I am trapped in an eternal cycle of emptiness, forever longing for the spark of life that once consumed me. Some might take it as a gift to be immortal, but for me, it's a curse. A curse that I want to get rid of. Every day feels like an endless void as I yearn for the fleeting moments of happiness and purpose that used to fill my days. The weight of imm

Our SAT results came back, and our parents booked a private room at a Michelin-starred steakhouse to celebrate. Over dinner, they began discussing how we should apply to the same university so we could keep looking out for each other. I looked across the table at Derek and asked politely, “Derek, which university are you planning to apply to?” The moment the words left my mouth, comments suddenly flashed across my vision. [Here she goes again. Is this desperate side character going to apply to the same university as the male lead?] [I feel so bad for him. Just to keep the close ties between the families, he has to be okay with her clinging to him for three whole years!] [Don’t worry. H

Beads of sweat run down his forehead, and he’s turned pale. “When they were talking in the courtyard…” He licks his lips. “I heard something I didn’t understand then, but I do now.” “What? What is it?” And does he seriously think we have time to stop and have a conversation right now? The new wave of Silver Hunters is probably already in the main building. They’ll reach the pool house in no time at all, and I don’t have what it takes to defeat that many of them. “It’s an old relic.” Alec grabs my shoulder. “It’s all powerful. If they get their hands on it, nothing can stop them. I thought… I thought it was just a legend, that it wasn’t real.”

"Now, before you say anything. This club is... different." My brows furrowed. "How so?" Leaning forward, she whispered with uncontainable excitement, "It's an immortal bar. Think about it, Hell, so many other species would be out there. It's the perfect re-introduction to immortal society." "Wow, how... exciting." Her face fell. "It is. I mean... so many species, a lot of... People, immortal society. Yipee." "I hate you." A chuckle left me. Before I could say anything else, she held my gaze and said, "Since you think it's so exciting, you're going to come along with me, right?'

"Ricky, you will have to face much more unexpected things soon, you sure you are okay?" "I'm fine. I did tell you last night that I will devote myself to you." Noel chuckled. "What was that, a proposal?" Ricky pondered while gulping down the fried egg. "Not exactly, but me being immortal as well as following you in your entire journey, doesn't that sounded like we'll be together for life?" "That's true too. But it's not like we are a couple or anything. You are free to love anyone that piqued your interest in our journey later." Noel reasoned.

Haldir asked as his eyes darted around his rickety hovel. Michael gave Haldir an apologetic look of understanding because he'd had a similar gift bestowed on him many, many millennium ago. "You will live among the Others in their world. Since you can never really be like them because you were born of human blood, the gods gifted you immortality. No weapon ever used against you will succeed, you will not age and you will never know illness." Haldir laughed out in his raspy, throaty way. "That is quite a gift."

If they do decide against us, we'll just give the Queens the old heave-ho and deal with it later. Again, delusion. She sighed. You seem to be working under a flawed premise I've meant to speak with you about for quite some time. Sorry? Where was the flaw exactly? It's not like they can really hurt me or anything. I'm immortal. Immortal, yes, she sent. But not invincible. Gulp. Explain? Immortality means you will live forever, and never grow old, she sent. As long as nothing happens to you. That sounded rather final for something I was given the impression would go on and on forever. Why was this the first time I was hearing this information?

That it isn't a big deal. But while eating and talking with Miranda, something bugs me the most. I wasn't aware of it until now, and only realized this one fact.. Vladimyr is immortal.

A tear slipped down my cheek as the horror of it sank in. "Now…" He stood up slowly, power radiating off him in waves. "I am fucking immortal." The room went quiet, like the entire house held its breath and at that moment, I realized... This wasn’t the end of a story. It was the beginning of something terrifying. Of something... eternal.

An immortal. I’ve learnt how to decider an immortal from a mortal. It’s rather easy, to be honest. Because an immortal is the most foreign looking person you will ever see. And the man staring back at me, eyes as blank as a slate, is an immortal. I would bet my own life on it.
