Novel & Cerita I Met A Man That Wasn't There

Anyone from 100 meters away could see the redness of his face. I still didn’t know why that day I went to the bathroom. It wasn’t that I needed to use the toilet or something. But a whisper took me there. I was at the bar waiting for my drinks when a man in a black jacket and a black hat came to me and whispered in my ears. “Go to the ladies’ room. You will find your boyfriend and friend there.” After that he vanished, I waited thinking that was a prank, but when they didn’t come, I walked to the place and opened the door with a silent prayer, hoping to be wrong, but when I saw everything with my eyes, it broke all the dream I saw with Brad.

I didn't see anyone when I came in and I hadn't heard the door open so I turned away from the picture to face the owner of the voice and tell him I did not appreciate being startled, when I saw the face belonging to the voice. The pre-planned speech failed as my breath left me and my mind became blank. I thought I had seen him that night but in all honesty, I was just seeing him now. I sighed and nodded, walking again as we both looked around for her friends. While walking, I went to hit a man, but my body came back, and I turned my head to look at him and apologize. As I turned, my gaze was captured by something, or rather someone, I froze and turned my head again to look back at where I had seen, but there was no one. I shook my head and kept walking. My mind was so treacherous that it made me see things that were not there, people that were not there, and made me imagine her. But I didn’t want to imagine her, I wanted her to disappear from my life completely.

So why should I think about anything else? But talking about my dream actually reminds me of the many other characters that were present there. I typed in Taylen Nova and hit the enter bar. No results popped up. That was good at least. I wonder where the other me from this dimension is? I hacked onto one of the satellites and went onto a database for the entire world. It still showed no results. "Guys..." I stated and they all focused their attention on me. "I can't find a Taylen Nova."

She'll probably think I was crazy. To begin with, no one was in the observatory nor the library when I went in there and no one had climbed up those steps either. So how did those men come from there? Or have I started seeing ghosts? Yet, why did the man's hand feel so real? A ghost won't have a strong grip on you, will it? How about the toilet incident? I know I saw Roberto. I know I did. Yet, Maria said he wasn't back. What was wrong with me?

I've wanted to know where it all started for a long time. Where did we first meet, and what have I done to make him obsess over me like this. I never remember him at all, I never felt that I had ever seen him in my life. I didn't even know he was alive when I met him at the cafe. And since then I never thought there was a man like this. What that man did to me was terrible and at the same time, heaven. When I woke up, it was already afternoon, and my mother and Uncle Lemuel were gone.
