I just can’t help but feel, though, as if something is missing. Is it the empty space beside me in bed? Is it the lack of laughter and warmth in the kitchen when I come home from work? If I could turn back time, to rewind the clock, I would do it in a heartbeat. I would show Stella that I am the good man that she once loved, because she did love me, right?
