My head feels like it's gonna burst open, I don't just need any girl, I need the perfect one. Arrrrrrghhhhhhhh, I better go get drunk.

I did the whole thirty minutes walk back in a kind of daze. I am hungry. But I don't have an appetite. I want Linc. He is the one I want to talk to. It is not lunch time yet so he would still be stuck with his work. But he told me to never hesitate to call him if I needed him. And I need him right now. I want to cry. I want to bawl. I want to talk about the awfulness of the heartbreak I am going through with someone who would understand. Linc would.

You guys haven’t been messing around again, have you?” I rolled my eyes. “Mia.” She laughed. “I’m just saying.” I sighed, my fingers tapping against my mug. “I need someone powerful. Someone with connections. Someone who can actually help with this.”

“I need one of you’s help, is there anyone with the power to save someone from a poisonous poison.” I repeated, making sure I’m more clearer and easy to understand. Gabe shakes his head. “If you ever need someone to talk to, I am here. I don't judge and I have no one to tell it to, so honestly, I am a good choice to unload on. Besides, I am a pretty good listener, if I do say so myself.”

And the worst part was, my mom couldn't see it happening. I grabbed my phone and opened I*******m, desperately needing to talk to someone who actually cared about me. It is as if a scab has been torn off and now I need to heal again. I look around my room and wish I had a television or a radio to help with the silence. I suppose I could get some music on my phone… I’m not sure even that will be enough though. The only thing that could help me, I think, is a human connection. I don’t have work for a few days. I could call Nancy, I suppose, but she doesn’t know the whole of what’s going on with me. Right now, I want to be seen. Even if that person doesn’t know who I really am.
