The Alpha's Cure
Once the last dish is put away, I whisper, "Let's christen the deck."
Gazing into my eyes, he kisses me but whispers, "Not tonight, baby. I need to rest and figure out how to keep us safe."
All night Jude's tossing and turning. Unable to get comfortable, I go out to the upper deck and gaze at the stars. The sky is filled with them. Wanting to swim, I peek down into our bedroom, and Jude's sound asleep.
I tell God, "This is my last time."
It's then I say my chant and dive into the ocean. Once I shapeshift, I hear voices. It's Micah, Deena, Julius, Melanie, Andrew, and other voices, but they're all asking, "There's a tomb?"
