I have an upcoming exam and I have to prepare for it. I love this book and I have great ideas for it, but with my current burnout I'm afraid that I'll ruin it. I already feel it's not flowing like it was supposed to. It won't be fair to you or the book not to give it my all or just write for the sake of writing. Please understand that I'm not abandoning or giving up on the book, I just need a bit of time to sort out my head before I can go back to writing. You deserve an awesome story and I would be disappointed in myself if I didn't give you that.

But I don't really care. I continue typing my monologue for my new book. My new work is going to be a romance but with a sick, gothic twist. It's exciting to write something new apart from my usual books. I hope that my editor likes my pitch. Otherwise, I'm going to start from scratch. And I have a deadline. The hum of my laptop echoes through the living room. I sit on the nice periwinkle couch. It's not mine, but it feels so good. I have been visiting Stan with every opportunity I have. When I did, I realized it was too boring to just lie there so I got the book I’m currently reading from my bag. I have a lot of books at home. My hobbies are mainly book-related- reading a book, buying books, window shopping books, planning for a book, etc. Aside from family and academics, my life mostly revolves around books. I want to be a writer and be able to publish books in the future. That’s why I took up Creative Writing as my major. I started writing when I was still young so I think as I grow older, that’s how I learned to better my writing. Plus, life growing up will teach you a lot, and that’s where I draw most of my inspirations from.
