He was eating his apple while scrolling through the news. Xander didn't say anything at first, he was walking up and down the room hoping that Drake would finally pay attention to him but he didn't and this infuriated him the more so he went ahead, grabbed the apple he was eating and slammed it against the wall.

"We heard a voice speak, as if coming from another room in the apartment my in-laws were in. Soon the image of João Felipe appeared on the screen and I felt myself freezing instantly because I was not prepared for that unexpected "encounter". I look back at Jasmine, and her hand trembles visibly, her head lowering like she is not the one who was calling him a cursed Ice Prince seconds ago.

Their eyes were closed and a peculiar feeling of devastation began to run, like a thousand streams, into his chest, at the thought that they might be dead. “No!” he shouted as he fell to his knees. The woman’s lime green eyes cracked open and the thin layer of ice around her face cracked, but then froze again. He exhaled in relief and reached out to wipe away the tiny crystals already accruing on her lashes. “God, you’re cold,” he exclaimed, bringing his hands over her frigid cheeks.

Instead, he buried his face in his hands, ignoring Colton's presence. Colt sighted Brian's phone on the floor on the other side of the room. He went there to pick it up. The phone looked okay except for the cracked screen. A curious colt was about to ask again what warranted Brian to almost destroy his phone when he mistakenly pressed a button and then the picture of Vanessa and Henry came into view. Colton froze. After a few seconds of staring at the picture in shock, he took a glance at his boss who was still seated with his face buried in his hands. Colt looked at the picture on the phone again and sighed.

I crane my neck back, move my hair back to see it all. The portly guard pulls a lever, and a portion of it lowers. Clunky and groaning, the ice flys out, the gate forcing its way open. The gate lowers completely, warm water slowly trickles out, and the inside of Estate Eclipse is steaming. I grab onto Dante and he helps me past the blocks of ice until we cross the other side of the gate.

He wonders internally, even though he his expression is that of indifference. Few hours before Robins and Cassandra are seen busy throwing daggers to themselves with their eyes, but only breaks it when Sandra looks at them. Well Robins breaks it, to smile at Sandra softly before going back to continue when she continues with what she was saying. “So we are going top that new alley first, to get more information, and don’t forget it must be subtle, we are going under cover” Sandra says, eyeing both Cass and Robins. “Of course” “Of course”

Somebody went down hard. I whistled. “Stop.” Everyone stilled. I looked at Kai across the ice. “They came to my side so we could do something useful together. Not so you could declare war on them.” My voice carried cleanly in the cold air. “We are one team. That’s the whole point.”
