I asked. "Not much, I'm afraid. Infact I think..... arrhhgggghhh!" He screeched in pain as a guy who literally fell from the broken skylight above us landed on his spine, instantly paralyzing him. The stood on top of his twitching body, staring at us with disdain. He was barely wearing any clothes. Just a pair of jeans and no shirt at all. "Who are you?! Who do you work for?!" I demanded from him, "You do know this is high treason right?!" He didn't answer for a while and then smirked a little bit. He was extremely intimidating, it almost felt like I was staring at the devil himself... "My name is Lucas, your new Alpha" ***

Our designated section, which had been a lonely island of support, is suddenly inundated with a pack of fans larger than I ever realized we commanded. They aren't just cheering; they are howling in a rhythmic, unified chant. A group of supporters holds a massive banner that reads: LYON’S KINGS RULE THE ICE. Another cluster of rowdy fans in neon Stormbreakers gear displays a sign: KNOX-OUT POWER. There is even a group of spectators who have superimposed my face onto a classic Alpha-wolf silhouette with the caption: THE ONLY LEADER FOR THE PACK.

Someone yelled, jerking his finger in the direction where the dragon was breathing ice and freezing some parts of the sea, making fishies get closely packed together as they died. The ice dragon was of an enormous size and wingspan with two large horns upon his head which pointed back to his heavy flapping bat wings. His body was scaly like a lizard and he had sharp spikes and a barbed tail. His eyes were the same color as the indigo sea. He was fearsome and hair-rising to Finlay's men but not to him even though it was his first time seeing the ice dragon. "Alexander," a middle-aged man kneeled on the ice, shivering.

"Fifty yards in open snow. The sensors will pick you up the second you break cover." "Not if they have a bigger, hotter target to track," Maya said, her honey-brown eyes meeting his with a fierce, terrified bravery. Julian’s jaw clenched so hard a muscle feathered near his ear. He was the Ice King, a man who commanded global markets and private armies, and the thought of using himself as live bait to protect his amnesiac wife was the only logical play. But the thought of her running into the open while heavy machine guns tracked them made his blood run cold.

"Sounded like a broken radiator." "Fine. Starve. Drive yourself to the Miami Ice Dome." Val rolled away, burying his face in the sheets. "Asshole hasn't changed a bit." "Hey, come here, Little Ice Prince." Val stiffened. "Finn... drop the nicknames. We're adults." Finn didn't listen. He leaned over, his fingers brushing the hair away from Val's nape. He pressed a dry, lingering kiss to the sensitive skin behind Val’s ear. Val’s entire body betrayed him, a violent shudder racing down his spine.

JAXSON "Smile, Feya. People are taking photos," I murmured, keeping my voice low as we stepped out into the freezing air of the quad. "Smiling without a genuine emotional trigger creates an unnatural facial contortion," Feya said flatly, her eyes locked on the stone steps. "Observers will recognize the disingenuous nature of the expression." God, this woman. "They don't want genuine, Ghost," I said, slinging my arm over her shoulder and pulling her against my side. "They want to see that the Ice King hasn't lost his mind over a bad game, and that his genius girlfriend isn't dumping him."

Their intimidating faces turned ferocious. Kael drew backward in the dark waters as the three men rushed in the pond. Ice King’s Footprint, he cast in his mind. He plunged his sword through the water… through the bed, then forced himself up, standing on Blackwinter’s handle with perfect balance. He smirked at the guards as he flicked his fingers. “Release.”

“Come on, little wolf.” Papa’s eyes locked on mine, wild with the firelight and something deeper a terror id never seen before “Aira,” he rasped, gripping my arms. “The alpha leading them is Kael Draven. Say his name. Burn it into your mind.” I nodded, frozen. “He’s the one who leaves no survivors. Packs whisper his name like a curse. His known as the Ice wolf. He was betrayed once in his pack his parents and siblings were slaughtered and he was left with nothing.

I smiled at the memories. Once I punched one of these motherfuckers and broke his nose. He cried like a little bitch. Unbeatable, my ass. Coach paused, eyes narrowing on a few of the guys who were still talking. "And I don't want to hear any of you giving them a hard time. They're here now, and we don't need to start any shit. Got it?" I nodded slightly, catching the gaze of a few teammates who were looking for my reaction. "Yeah, Coach, no problem. As long as none of those hockey jerks show up, we'll play nice."

“Is kingly a real word? Not only are you a complete barbaric savage with no class whatsoever. You are brain dead” A bird that no one noticed made its way to the ice king. He didn’t need to do much. He raised a finger and the bird was stabbed by a shard of ice. Stooping it in its flight before it could actually touch him. Agira stood up. That made icicles shoot out from the table making the hologram of the entire planet shaky. That was able to make the others get defensive. The Luvinan overlord had her butterflies fluttering above her. Victor Prime had the glass covering his eyes reflecting red. The Savan leader was growling.
