Identity Unknown の小説・ストーリー

"Little rabbit, can you think of anything that might help us figure out what this guy would possibly want with you?" I look at her, waiting. "I don't know Dario. I can't think of anything he has said." "Okay, did you ever see anything? Did he always carry something with him? Were there conversations Dale had that might have something?" She looks at me like I'm crazy. "Little rabbit, we need something. He's nameless, no identity. Anything could fucking help!" Closing my eyes, I try to calm down. "Sorry." "Dario, it's fine, let me think." Nodding, I wrap my arms around her, and we sit silently. This guy has no identity; he isn't on any police system. He's been paying enough to hide.

Avery's POV At the self-checkout, she scanned her items mechanically, her mind still stuck on Kevin and his claims. He had called her Raina. And she looked like Raina. Too much like her. That couldn’t be a coincidence, could it? But if she was Raina, then who was Avery? Was she really just a fabricated identity, a shell of someone else? She had to know. She had to understand what Kevin meant when he said that she had disappeared, and why she had no memory of him—or of any of it.

A new message came through. UNKNOWN: A Good Samaritan just looking out for you. I frowned. Good Samaritan? That was the oldest trick in the book. If they were really looking out for me, why hide their identity? I knew how this went. First, they’d pretend to help. Then they’d ask for something—money, favors, something worse. Or maybe they had something on me. A threat. A warning. Before I could type a response, another message popped up. UNKNOWN: And don’t worry, I have your best interest at heart. I’m just looking out for you.

But one name had begun to dominate every forum, every leaderboard, every rumor thread. NULLWRAITH. A seasonal player. With no face. No history, and no trace. Jeff Sandler had spent months trying to uncover the identity behind that username—and had failed every single time. Now, a second unknown player has surfaced. And according to online analysts, both usernames might belong to the same person. Jeff straightened. “Find them,” he ordered. “Whoever they are—man or woman—I want them found.” His gaze swept across the room. “Use every resource we have. Dig through voice data, play patterns, financial trails—everything.”

The call is picked up at once. "Hello," a deep, masculine voice cuts through the speaker. "Hello," I reply. I skip the introduction, keeping my identity vague, as the other person's identity is also anonymous, except for their trade name, "Ghost," and their reputation as one of the best for extracting information about anyone or anything. "Am I speaking with 'Ghost'?" I ask. "You are," the man confirms.

Me: Who are you and how did you get my number I got an instant reply. Unknown: My identity is not important. How I got your number is also not important. Are you interested in knowing what it Is? What is it that he can possibly know about me? I thought to myself before texting my reply. Me: What is it? Unknown: I'll only give out the information on two conditions. If he's going to make demands then I don't think I want to know. I mean, what could be so important? I asked myself, frowning.

I looked at him incredulously. "Why are you saying this? Can you stop hiding things from me? I'm not a child!" "I haven't hidden anything from you." He reached out, wrapping his arm around me. "They've caught the person, but it was an online transaction, and the identity of the other party is unknown." "Unknown identity?" I questioned. Atlas assured me, "But it's not Liora." "She's ruled out!" "Yes! She wouldn't be able to find such a person so quickly," Atlas said confidently, "There must be someone else involved."

This time the question was directed to Dennis who nodded and stepped forward "The owner is unknown…I had my men investigate this… but nothing, even his employees are clueless about his identity," Dennis said and Ricardo's grip on the file tightened. Something was not right.

Jones said. “I intentionally held back the photograph of this man. His name is Edith, that is all we know of him and sorry to say, he is a terrorist and he is going to be difficult to handle. He has traveled to different parts of the world and all with a fake Identity, so just maybe, just maybe his name isn't Edith.” Jones muttered as he looked at me. And I was already confused about everything going on. I furrowed my eyebrows as I looked at the striking resemblance.

, he said. "I really appreciate all your efforts. So, what did you find?", Rita said. She was itching for information, anything at all that could help her unravel the mystery that seemed to be her life. "The message was sent from a burner phone that we traced from a pick'n'go shop downtown. The person who sold the phone her no idea who the buyer is", he said. "So that means, the identity of this person is still not known?", Rita asked. "I'm afraid yes but we're working on finding out who this person is", he said.
