She didn't look affected either by Leo's aura or the growing tension in the room.

The man returned Alex's smile and shrugged casually, "Can't I stay here? Is this place only for half-breeds? And as the pure- blood vampire, I can't stay here?" He said sarcastically. This guy turns out to be Leo, a vampire from the Rival clan who is a master of technology and hacking. Leo has helped Alex in several cases before. He is Alex's loyal partner in cyberspace, and Alex has always relied on Leo's ability to infiltrate heavily protected systems.

Leonidas’s body begins to shake, and laughter comes from his chest. I pull myself away and look at him.
