The spoiled protégée of the ruthless CEO

The spoiled protégée of the ruthless CEO

She has to find him no matter what! Flora started walking in the long corridor, discovering the department. It was vast with many rooms and no windows. It was dark with some yellow lamps on the walls that had a faint light. The corridor had very high sailing. Maybe five meters? Flora was not sure, for she wasn't able to see the sailing. It was too dark to be seen. The wall was full of paintings. But they were not any paintings. They were the gloomiest paintings Flora has ever seen. There were some good imitations of 'Massacre of the innocents, 'The Temptation of St. Anthony', 'The Nightmare', 'Hell', 'Saturn Devouring His Son', 'Diomedes Devoured by Horses', 'Smiling Spider' and 'The garden

The Triplet Warriors and Their Pup Mate(Shadow Warrior Series)

The Triplet Warriors and Their Pup Mate(Shadow Warrior Series)

I felt glass hit my skin and I smelled blood, Coral growled. I winced as it seemed like I twisted my ankle, and Coral got busy trying to heal us. When I looked down at my hand, it was on the book. I grabbed it and struggled to my feet. “I have it, now what,” I shouted, as Katrina’s hand landed on my arm again. I saw her holding the large heavy book from the display. *The boy! Something about the boy I think, find that page,* Coral yelled. I was nearly afraid to open the book, what if the pages ripped out in the wind?

Definitely my favorite books on here! I love them so much, I read them all again when Ben's book was finished. I do feel like his book was missing some things, though. I just don't feel like they actually figured out how to make things work at the end. It just kind of forced a happy ending.

All the stories were written very well. The author keeps you on your toes with all the twists and turns, but overall great love stories. I love how all the stories tie into each other, and you still get to know what happened when the sequel ends.

The Wrong Wife for Mr Whitmore: Pregnant, Divorced, Reclaime

The Wrong Wife for Mr Whitmore: Pregnant, Divorced, Reclaime

I heard Professor Coraline call after someone about an assignment while I pulled my book into my backpack. I wasn’t sure why, but my heart had been beating strangely for the duration of the entire class. The moment Professor Coraline called, ‘Mr Whitmore,’ and it turned out to be the boy with tattoos, piercings, and impossibly beautiful silvery grey eyes, it suddenly became much harder to breathe.

THE LAST CELESTIAL WOLF

THE LAST CELESTIAL WOLF

It stands alone, in the middle of the woods, surrounded by trees like a sacred temple. “There it is!" Coral whisper–yells, almost jumping with joy. I smile as well, but I still can't shake off the wary feeling. We walk up to the library and stop when we get to its huge black doors. I reach out to open it. " Wait!” Coral says, stopping me before I can even get hold of the door handle. " Something's wrong.” She presses her hand to her temple and shuts her eyes. " Are you okay?” " Yes but…" she trails off her expression wary. “I don't feel good. I feel odd, like there's something that doesn't want us to go in.”

Closing Cost

Closing Cost

The fact they were extremely wealthy and powerful didn't help either. Coral wanted to tuck tail and run back into the house as quickly as she could. She looked like she had been working the late shift at a strip joint. She caught her reflection in the window pane of the french doors that led to the patio when she had first came out to find Lev. The only thing stopping her was the knowledge of her knowing if she turned around and went back inside of the house both men would probably think she was scared, or being difficult. She didn't want them to have that impression of her, so she walked forward with as much confidence as one could muster when they were wearing a man’s denim shirt, white th

The Cornwall's Core

The Cornwall's Core

My smile flattened. “What?’’ “Mr. Cornwall will be the new addition to our faculty. Wasn’t that great?” Carol said before she was talking about Mr. Cornwall’s request to have me as his tour guide for his campus tour. “Would you love to do that?” She asked and when she did that charming smile, I cannot resist her even if I wanted to. “It will be my pleasure,” I said as I was turning toward Brad and he was smirking at me. MATED TO MY POSSESSIVE BULLIES: THE ALPHA TRIPLETS

MATED TO MY POSSESSIVE BULLIES: THE ALPHA TRIPLETS

That book was our only chance- our only chance. Snapping her fingers, the fire stopped and the book that had already become ash blew into the air, flying all over the place like it was trying to taunt me. Seeing me cry and break was apparently not enough for Coral. She walked closer to me once again, her smile becoming wider and her eyes sparkling with evil intent. “Now, let’s see what you’ve been up to,” she said as she raised her hand to my head. I tried to push her hand away but she held on to my hand tightly. Before I knew what was happening, she placed her other hand on my forehead.

Pregnant with Four Alphas' Babies Vol. 2: Descendants

Pregnant with Four Alphas' Babies Vol. 2: Descendants

“The issue is that it’s not currently curable. We’re raising money for more research into the matter.” That sounded reasonable... maybe. She softens a bit and smiles. I hear Delphnie whispering her chant below her mask. I just need to hold her here for a few more seconds, then I can use the spray bottle. “Let me go get my purse,” Coraline says. I open my mouth to say something to stop her, but she has already disappeared into the house. “I lost it,” Delphnie whispers. “Keep her talking when she gets back.” I nod, finding it harder to keep the fake smile on my face the longer we stand here. But I manage it when she reappears with a checkbook.
