I checked my watch. Thirty minutes had passed, and there was still no sign of them. I exhaled slowly, forcing myself to stay calm. Maybe they were just running late. Maybe traffic was bad but as another ten minutes went by, then another fifteen, my patience started to wear thin. I gritted my teeth, drumming my fingers against the table impatiently as I waited. An entire hour had passed. I clenched my jaw, my irritation reached its peak and I used everything in me to hold myself back from getting angry, one thing I hated was having to watch for people. It should be the other way. Frustratedly, I grabbed my phone and dialed my secretary.
