Impending Nuptials Novels & Stories

After a long process and a bit of the usual fuss finally, it will pay off with a wedding party that has been prepared in such a way. And immediately next week is the day Shanum has been waiting for. Namely his marriage to Abizar. Invitations have also been distributed, the building has also been ordered for food. Seserahan has been ordered. Just prepare yourself.

Waiting for the punchline that never came. “You will marry Catherine here. We will invite guests. Noble families. Important names. People from milestone as well, They will witness the union.” My chest felt too tight. “And in a few months,” he continued casually, “you will announce the pregnancy. Or better yet, the child’s birth.” My breath caught. “This is not up for discussion,” he added. “You will step into your role as my heir soon enough. Whether you are ready or not. Silence swallowed the room.

I don't know why she had a change of heart but I wasn't going to lose the opportunity. "Oh darling, you don't know how happy I am to hear you say that!" I picked her up and swung her around while she giggled. "Let's get married tomorrow. I can't wait any longer. The mating ceremony, which is a wedding for a supernatural couple, is an important event in the supernatural and royal world. You won't regret saying yes, love." I told her.

“And by a lot to do, you mean?” “For starters, I think you are well aware that we are going to have to be ‘appearing’ together as a husband and wife, or more specifically, Alpha and Luna, at the wedding ceremony tomorrow, right?” He asked, and taking a deep breath, I pinched the bridge of my nose. That part had completely slipped my mind, but that also meant that the two of us were to mate by the end of tomorrow. “And that means that the two of us are going to have to mate.” I stated and he nodded.

Selda could not stop staring at Zenith. He looked different. Way too different. Who had dressed him this time? She needed to know because her heart was starting to skip a beat at every move of his and it was dangerous. She needed to keep a strong stance so that she can get him to do what she wanted. "What do you think about the meals?" He asked her, taking her by surprise. Her eyes widened as he lifted his gaze to meet hers. The Nuptial Dinner was a ceremony where the royal couple got to eat together and may have talks as concerning their future together since the day was always spent attending to issues in the court.

It was time to watch the game play out. After a day at work, it was most depressing to have to return to my home. The house was beginning to look like some tourist center or a location for a carnival. There were workers of every kind – decorators, chefs, caterers, waiters, artists, and so on, coming in with their wares and filling up the entire space with their activities, all in preparation for the wedding. “It’s three days to come, son.” Grandpa had said cheerfully. “In three days, the mating shall take place.”

My brows knitted, my body already melting in anticipation for more kisses. "For now we have to keep everything on the low, my love. We no longer know who is for us and who is against us. So, for now, this should be between us and then one week before the ceremony, we will inform our families and invite the people we want. It should be performed in a small way. Nothing much."

I murmured. “It’s customary in this empire. After it’s officially confirmed that you’re pregnant, we have to host the wedding ceremony and the associated celebration before your tummy gets too big. They’ll be guests from all the towns in the empire, officials, royalty and the list goes on and on. It’s endless,” Ren said before laughing softly. “I guess it’s a big deal then…” I said softly.

"Hold your horses. We need to do some preparations" "What is the need of preparations? The bride is here, the groom is here and you as a witness is here, what is the need of others? I will prepare the holy pyre in the middle and put the mantras on the phone. And we are married" he said as if he was explaining the rules of some game. "I want a proper marriage," she said "But..." "Why are you in so much hurry?" He was interrupted. "I want to marry her as soon as possible"

she proclaimed proudly, and they erupted into laughter. Emelda turned to her son. "In the meantime, prepare yourself for your wedding tomorrow, for after that comes the ultimate shock of their lives." The following day... The Boldclaw fortress and the Moonlight pack buzzed with preparations for the impending wedding ceremony. According to tradition, it was imperative that the moon graced the night sky before the nuptials could commence.
