The Next Wife

The Next Wife

He smirked. "Of course, dad." He nodded, waiting for his next words. "According to the contract he's about to sign, his next of kin must be at least 30 years of age who is not suffering from any disease." Maxwell said. "So?" "I think he has a child but I don't think he's up to the age of Thirty but I'm guessing Marcus married and his wife's definitely above the age of Thirty, which means that he'll make her his next of kin." Maxwell stated.

They couldn't have been more than fifteen years of age and were both intelligent looking. "We are the new fates, brothers Jackson and Nowell and you two are Rai, the Grim Reaper and Sebastian, a Death & Life soul cultivator, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance," Jackson stated and presented his open hand to us as he stepped closer. Rai shook it first and said we needed to clean up the mess. "We will deal with it, you both enjoy your newly engaged selves," Jackson grinned. We both thanked them profusely and stood back as they waved their hands over the corpses and the bodies and blood all vanished.

1.5/5. Posting as 5 b/c app suppresses low reviews. The general idea of the story was interesting but writing was lacking and clunky. The ending was rushed, too. The book was full of grammatical and spelling errors that were distracting and made the story less enjoyable to read. Needs severe editing

I would love a story for Charia's children, they seem interesting. It was a great read, need some editing but good to go. Ryker showed them hell, Ryder is a sweet man. My favorite character is Melissa, she's so loyal it hurts sometimes.

Skeletons Of The Marital Closet

He would not allow her to jump into the deep sea in front of her like this! The sea was so vast he could not even catch Gale's body! "I want to believe you, but I don't have time. Shawn, I just told you that if there is a next life, we will be together again. This sentence is sincere, and there is no deception," Gale said. She would get acquainted with him step by step normally, get to know each other, and fall in love with him in her next life. Follow the steps that all couples follow when they fall in love.

If you haven’t started this book yet, so don’t start at all. I am not saying is bad but it’s so slow and boring. The writer starts perfectly and sadly drag it around a year!!! It hasn’t finished yet. You can skip several chapters with no concern because nothing special is happening.

Everly lowered her head, falling silent. "It's okay. Even the most painful nights will pass, and the sun will rise again. When we have gotten through those days, we'll eventually welcome a new life." Ok so I’m now on chapter 1286 and it’s getting ridiculous. It’s great that Liv is now a badass assassin but that should be saved for a sequel. Make a part 2 that we can CHOOSE to read not be forced to read just to finish our original storyline... I have too much money invested I’m ready to end it. ...

yay.....! Finally, new chapters boo hoo only 2. I am so addicted to this book it's like watching an awesome movie with several sequels. I wish I had 100's of chapters a day instead of 1 or 2. I also don't know how to give this book gems or rate it. I will say it's great reading keeps me on edge. ...

Rebirth: A Life for a Life

Rebirth: A Life for a Life

I avoided Marcus and went to the study. When I unlocked my phone, I found exactly what I expected—Mirabelle was livestreaming. In my previous life, she had done the same thing, sharing her "day in the life of a rich family's housekeeper" online. She even claimed she was going to follow the lady of the house and challenge herself to reverse aging in thirty days, going from 40 back to 20. At the time, her viewers were in stitches, flooding the chat with comments. "Ma'am, you'd have to be remade from scratch. If you can go back to 20 in 30 days, I can go back to kindergarten!"

Friends, I guess just people that care about me would be enough. So, why not end this life for a life that May come later that would be worth living instead of this life that is more of a nightmare.

Frequently Asked Questions

The ending of 'In the Next Life' really caught me off guard—it’s one of those stories that lingers in your mind long after you finish it. Without spoiling too much, the final chapters tie together the protagonist’s journey through reincarnation in a way that’s bittersweet yet oddly satisfying. There’s this moment where all the fragmented memories from their past lives finally click into place, revealing a connection between characters that felt so subtle earlier in the story. The author leaves just enough ambiguity to make you wonder whether the cycle will continue or if this life is the one where they break free. It’s the kind of ending that sparks endless debates in fan forums—some readers swear it’s hopeful, while others argue it’s tragically inevitable.

What I love most is how the emotional payoff feels earned. The protagonist’s growth across lifetimes isn’t linear; they stumble, repeat mistakes, and occasionally regress, which makes that final moment of clarity hit harder. The last scene shifts to an entirely new perspective—someone observing the protagonist from afar—and it subtly implies the cycle might restart. It’s masterful how a single line of dialogue can reframe everything that came before. I spent days dissecting it with friends, and we still have different interpretations. That’s the mark of a great ending: it doesn’t hand you answers but makes you hungry to piece them together yourself. Personally, I like to think it’s about finding peace in the journey rather than the destination.
