Mysteries Next Door

Mysteries Next Door

Right as I was getting into the groove of things, one of our cursed phones started ringing. Vonn grabbed her phone and ducked into the bathroom to take her call. She came back looking sorry. She said something had come up, and she had to leave now. It seemed pretty urgent, so I could not really say much. I was left alone with my blue balls. I blurted out, "Ugh! “Who's the jerk ruining my dreams?” After waiting for a few minutes, I decided to just head back to my room and take care of myself. My moment had slipped away, and I was cursing under my breath as I hit play on some video.

What's Above?

What's Above?

he smiled and looked at us "Our future generation, so you can help us survive." I tried to look around and saw that all of the students here are intently listening. I drew my eyes back to the front. Our instructor started his lesson by opening his holographic screen and showed us a place. Tall buildings are everywhere, there were bushes but no trees, waters and all of the structures are either silver or white. "This," he paused and pointed at the hologram, "is Society One." I felt my body tensed up and my attention went to the hologram, undivided.

Next Time, I Will Not Love You

Next Time, I Will Not Love You

Hana asked. "Reincarnation?" Jacob said. My mind went blank for a moment... They kept suggesting things to make it possible for the plot to work but none of their suggestions are matching. Ethan seems to notice that I was being quiet the whole time so he then asked me for my suggestion. "What do you think Illa?" I was anxious for a moment as they all laid there eyes on me. I actually don't know what to suggest. Well, should I just say something based on experience?

1.5/5. Posting as 5 b/c app suppresses low reviews. The general idea of the story was interesting but writing was lacking and clunky. The ending was rushed, too. The book was full of grammatical and spelling errors that were distracting and made the story less enjoyable to read. Needs severe editing

I would love a story for Charia's children, they seem interesting. It was a great read, need some editing but good to go. Ryker showed them hell, Ryder is a sweet man. My favorite character is Melissa, she's so loyal it hurts sometimes.

Frequently Asked Questions

I stumbled upon 'What Happens Next?' during a weekend binge-read, and it hooked me instantly. The story follows a group of high school friends who discover an old, mysterious board game in an attic. When they play it, strange events start mirroring the game's twists in real life—like a creepy version of 'Jumanji' meets 'Stranger Things.' The protagonist, a skeptical but witty teen named Jake, leads the charge to unravel the game's origins before its curses consume them all.

The pacing is fantastic—blending humor with spine-chilling moments, especially when the gang realizes the game's previous players vanished decades ago. The author nails the nostalgia of 80s adventure flicks while keeping the dialogue fresh. My favorite part? The subtle themes about friendship and facing the unknown. It’s a ride that left me checking my closet for shadows afterward.
