Dream Dominant Collection

Dream Dominant Collection

A post was situated in the corner with a pulley rigged to the top. "This is a solar shower." Blake held up a large flat rectangular vinyl pouch that was clear on one side and black on the other. The clear side had a large round valve and there was a handle on one end. The other end had clear tubing attached and at the end of the tubing was a tiny shower head.

CLAIMING MY SUNSHINE

CLAIMING MY SUNSHINE

he says casually, “since when do you monitor tableware stability?” “It was going to spill.” “It wasn’t.” “It almost did.” Shawn looks between us. “I feel like I’m missing context.” “You’re not,” Mike says smoothly. I stand abruptly. “Where are you going?” Shawn asks. “You’re not going into the southern woods today.” Mike’s eyes narrow slightly. Shawn frowns. “I wasn’t planning to?” “Good.” I move toward the counter, pouring myself coffee I don’t need. “You’ve been there before,” Shawn continues. “You showed me the trails two summers ago.”

The New Sun

The New Sun

"I can help. I can fight! I can—" Before he could say any more, SA-2614 pulled her hood down, went to him and cupped a hand over his mouth. In that moment, shafts of sunlight that passed through the forest canopy framed SA-2614's face as clear as day. She saw the look in his eyes. There was amazement there and... something else. She does not know what it is. Awe? Fear? She cannot say. For a moment, she saw him breathless and out of words. She wanted silence and got it. That would have to do.

Like Sunshine And Rain

she exclaimed. “No you don’t, it’s freaking warm outside, you’d wish you went out naked” Amaya cautioned. “Oh my god! Should I get more sunscreen then?” She asked. Amaya smiled calmly. “You’re fine dear, you’re fine” Nina smiled back “thanks” she said and run out. Mrs. Story who was standing in the stairway smiled heartily. “It’s been a while since I saw her this happy, what’s happening?” She quizzed Amaya.

Fatal Summer 1987

Fatal Summer 1987

They both enjoyed their morning at the beach by boogie boarding, laying out in the sun, and playing in the sand. __ After a long day at the beach, the two young ladies came back to the hotel to shower before heading down to the boardwalk. Layla got into the shower first. But as she stood there under the shower head, she noticed that the water wasn't getting really hot. So Layla called out to Sunny and said, "The water is mildly warm. I’m afraid there won't be any warm water left. Why don’t you just come in with me? Sunny replied, "Sure thing!" as she took her wet, sandy swimsuit off and got into the shower with Layla.

Yearning for Her Return

Yearning for Her Return

Rebecca raised four fingers for dramatic effect. "Okay, I get it. You saw her four times." Caleb's smile deepened as he watched her raise her fingers. He lazily leaned against the chair. He stared as the host approached SUN, who held a trophy while standing centerstage. SUN's flowing, long locks draped past her shoulders. She only secured half of her hair up with a claw clip. A radiant smile lit up her face, and just one look at it could improve one's mood. It was no wonder fans called her by her player ID, SUN. She was truly as warm as the sun.

Ellen Addawe
I like the depth of this book, the character of the FL wherein she learns a lot in her life experiences, her moving on from the past and enjoying her life in the present. Not the typical love story wherein after all the heartaches, betrayal & rejection, still the FL gives the ML a second chance.

I stopped reading this book the moment Rebecca got married to someone else and Daniel is dying of late stage cancer, after all he suffered in the hands of his evil brother and family, I expected a happy ending for him and Rebecca but the writer chose other wise. He doesn't deserve this tragic ending

Our Wedding Night

Our Wedding Night

Well, she was right about the sunsets. I’ve never seen anything as spectacular as this in my life. The sun is slowly glowing down the sky, and it’s not just sinking, it’s shooting rays of pink and orange with such dramatic force, I’m put in mind of one of Noah’s superheroes. “Sunset” sounds quite passive, quite nothing-y. This is more like sun-pow! Sun-take-that!

Sunfall

Sunfall

It’s black with various patches sewn in to keep it together, the metal rusting, the handle made of wood, and he rubs a strange substance on it to get it to open up. “Take my umbrella and get out. It can shade you from the sun.” He threw the life-saver at me, and I fumbled, dropped it, and picked it up again trying to keep my composure, but it's no use. Just Ray laughs at everything I do, and now I am the one with warm skin and a red face. The life-saver squeaks open precariously, letting out a long and arduous groan, and Just Ray tells me it's bad luck to open it indoors.

 Snow Luna

Snow Luna

A few warriors jogged along the perimeter or sparred near the training grounds—but none saw her. Thank the Moon Goddess. She moved quickly, sticking to the shadows, and slipped in through the back entrance of the pack house. Once inside, she padded silently down the hall and up the stairs to the third floor—the Alpha family’s suites. Her room was quiet. She shut the door behind her with a soft click and breathed out. Safe. She peeled off her clothes, stepped into the bathroom, and turned on the shower. The hot water helped wash away the night’s confusion. After drying off, she pulled on a fresh outfit and brushed her hair into a neat ponytail.

The stolen lycan princess

The stolen lycan princess

*River* The sun hangs low in the sky, its warm glow filtering through the canopy of trees that line our path. Aloria walks beside me, her vibrant presence illuminating the trail like the sun itself. I can feel the excitement radiating off her, the thrill of returning to our pack swirling around us like the gentle breeze rustling the leaves. But beneath that excitement lies a shared melancholy, a bittersweet reminder of the family we leave behind, if only for a little while.
