Once Camille returned from the shower, strands of her chestnut hair clinging to her cheeks, Helena took a turn in the shower. Camille and I fell into silence, a comfortable silence as we both watched the world pass us by. The forest remained thick, but the nightlife had soon surfaced as the sun went down. The sun peeked from in between the mountains, flashes of pink and indigo staining the sky. The clouds had thinned, giving us better view of the rich colors. It could have been my imagination, but I had never seen a sunset like this in my little town.
