The First Chosen Alpha (Prequel)

The First Chosen Alpha (Prequel)

“It’s hot as hell in here!” I shook my head at her antics before lying down on the bed beside her. “You were a newborn when I left Gujarat with you; you hardly knew anything of what happened here or how I’d spent the first fourteen years of my life. There might not be ghosts in the desert, Ruksaar but there are several of them inside me that I need to put to rest.”

“I don’t get it. You said spirits and ghosts. Isn’t a spirit a ghost?” She shook her head. “A spirit is free flowing and intelligent. It knows no boundaries and can come and go at will. A ghost is basically trapped energy. Ghost hunters often refer to them as residual energy. Ghosts often don’t realize that they died. If they do, they aren’t able to understand where to go and what to do, so they cling to the familiar.” “Can I ask you something without you getting upset with me?” I stammered, hesitantly.

The Hunter and the Vampire

The Hunter and the Vampire

They’d made the decision firm when they were in Jodhpur, searching for a vetal that would take over corpses and haunt the souls of the living, begging to pass on from this world to the next. I’d been fairly nonplussed when they’d told me that – the stories about Paris sounded much more pleasant – but I supposed it wasn’t as bad as their travels through the Philippines, tracking a particularly nasty manananggal who was leaving a trail of injured pregnant women behind, who would later give birth to children with grossly deformed faces. They’d told me in gruesome detail about how they’d found the detached bottom half of her body, and how it had dissolved when they’d covered it in salt and garli

Vampire of the New World

Vampire of the New World

"You may not believe it, but I met a few people who forbade me to come here, especially tonight." "The Day of the Ember Ghost," Dante said. "I'm glad they still talk about that. It's one of my favorite stories, actually. The day when the ember ghost emerges from his hell hole to find his next victim. Or was it the day of bad luck when no fisherman is allowed to go out to sea." Dante laughed. "Some of the locals looked pretty scared when they tried to prevent me from coming here. They really believed in their superstitions," said Jon.

Captain Cook
Excellent book! Plenty of suspense with vivid descriptions of locations and characters! I've reached Chapter 169 and didn't see any issues. I hope the author updates soon with new chapters! Great work!

This is an extremely well-written book. Of all the books I’ve read on the platform, this author’s command of the English language is the best. The story is great and reminds me a lot of Bram Stoker’s Dracula.

His Doll

His Doll

Without wasting any time, She ran towards the person and said catching her breath," Hey, there is a ghost. There is a ghost. She is.. She is..scaring me" The watchman looked forward and found no one. He said to Bhabani with a boring tone," Bahen ji( Mam) there is no one. This whole cement factory is empty for many years. Moreover, ghost doesn't exist". Bhabani looked at the place where Anamika was standing. But the whole place is now empty like Anamika didn't even come here. Bhabani is continuously saying to that Watchman type person," I am saying the truth. There is a ghost. I saw her with my own eyes."

Dear author, this is the best book I read so far , u know why? Coz I could connect with each and every character. it's not that any incident is astronomical and beyond our understanding. it's like this story is weaved from the experiences of ours surrounding. thanks for writing and sharing in this.

I completed this story on other platform earlier and must say it’s worth the coins. A woman was beaten, crushed and punished for no fault of hers. But she stood up, fought and when time came she forgave her culprit. Nice evolution of the character. I m not in favour of violence though.

121 Days With My Mate

121 Days With My Mate

Ghost stories around a bonfire—what could be more suspenseful and playful? Alastair settled down next to me, his hand finding mine. He gave it a reassuring squeeze as he began his tale. "Once, in these very woods, there was a legend of a ghostly figure that would appear every full moon. They say that those who encountered this spirit were granted a wish, but at a great cost..." His words hung in the air, and the pack leaned in closer, their eyes locked on Alastair, captivated by the haunting tale. The crackling of the fire seemed to echo the suspense in the atmosphere.

Town Secrets: Bandung

He says, helping Irene with the pronunciation. "Yeah, those. How are you able to narrow it down so quickly?" "Well, these ghosts specifically haunt pregnant women and babies, especially newborns." Kai says and shows Irene the tablet. "Which one are you more interested in knowing first?" Irene scans the three options and points to 'kuntilanak'. "I've actually heard of a name similar to this one before, but since I didn't think they existed, I just left without knowing the information."

But after all the goosebumps, 'twas just a tree. "Relax," she tangles her arm with mine, "those trees scare the intruders if any. A similitude of scarecrow." "Oh, but you're scared, too." "Of course! This forest is creepy! This is where the tears of our dead pack are preserved. Sometimes, those watch-wolves heard an agonizing howl in here." "Then there are ghosts here?" "That can't be!" I finally made a chuckle for the first time in a while. "That story is just a legend. It's a stupid creed to be true."

Call me Mom :Mated to my EX's Alpha Father

“Do you think ghosts are real? I have never seen one, but my mother used to tell stories about spirits that could not rest.” Seraphina frowned thoughtfully. “It is hard to say. Some packs believe in them strongly. Others say it is just the wind or tricks of the light. But if so many people are seeing the same thing, it makes you wonder.” We talked about it for a while. Zoe wondered if the ghosts were old pack members who had unfinished business. Seraphina asked if anyone had tried burning herbs or asking a wise elder to bless the grounds. I listened and added small comments here and there.
