Love Hunting

Love Hunting

“Mammmaaaa…Maammmaaaa(Mom in Indian language)” He started shouting. He grabbed onto Shama’s dress and hugged her. Shama was shocked for a minute but a laugh replaced her face. She started laughing loudly. She quickly looked at those creepy people grabbing onto their legs. She shrugged off the one which was grabbing her legs. She used her martial art techniques and after a few mins all the ghosts were lying down. No other ghost dared to approach them. “Where is the key?” Shama said in a threatening tone. “Here…Here”

Jyotsna and the ghost of the lost traveler

Jyotsna and the ghost of the lost traveler

With a smile she reserved for the worst of crimes, she asked Anwar, “what’s the ghost of Raja Kirshna what’s-it?” The three of them gave her a weak smile. Brojen twirled his right hand and did a sort of a bow and Etan said, “When the factory workers came here ten years ago, when all this was just a huge jungle with an empty factory building and a few huts scattered here and there, the local dwellers, the adivasi’s here talked about a legend. They believed that the ghost of Raja Krishnachandra made travellers lose their way and lured them in.” “Where did he lure them into?” she asked flinging her legs across the thin walls separating the two buildings.

MATED TO THE RUTHLESS LYCAN KING

MATED TO THE RUTHLESS LYCAN KING

She turned to the disc they were on and made it bigger, then sat down on it. “What are you doing?” Cortana asked. “The taxi driver said Yajurveda is a place where the ancestors used to visit to be able to connect with the spirit realm and communicate with the moon goddess. What if the ghost queen isn't just someone in hiding? What if she's a literal ghost, or can shift between physical and spiritual forms?” Mary answered. “Oh, I didn't think of that,” Cortana said, placing her index finger on her chin. “I'm going to try to connect to the spirit realm. You should sit down by me and hold my hand so you don't get left behind,” Mary said.

Curse of the Hallow Moon

Curse of the Hallow Moon

“It does increase our odds as all the saints without formal name days are lumped together as helpmeets. But let’s not press our luck! Stay awake and alert.” It was then the forlorn ghosts arrived. They were wandering souls without hope of redemption, forgotten by kin and by history. They were not visible, but their grumbling complaints could be sensed if not heard. The two girls were beset by importuning ghosts; men and women, whose bodies had been hanged, people who had died by mistake in a gunfight, young people who had caught tetanus and died of lockjaw, or victims of smallpox and diphtheria.

Allure

Allure

Today's celebration was new to me. "Why exactly are we celebrating today?" "It's been celebrated even before our birth. From the stories handed over, We know it's a day the spirits commune with the living." I snickered, "Has that been proven true?" "I've never experienced it but my Aunt claimed to have seen her late husband during this celebration." I had a weak belief in ghosts. I had seen Tatia and I was sure of it. If this day could strengthen her connection to the mortal realm. I was sure she was going to contact me, Maybe telling me why I needed to run.

Blue Moon Bed & Breakfast

Blue Moon Bed & Breakfast

Greta gathered the things, she needed to get ready for the morning. “It was touch and go. Berry tried to pull his big brother act. As soon as he saw the board, he was crawling on it. On that front, we’ve not been able to finish the research. We have helpful ghosts. I’ve never heard so many Class ‘A’ EVPs. We have a story begging to be told, and it’s unique as it isn’t just a single generation, but it affects the current town’s folk. Part of the story claims every Inn Keeper has died since the first ghost’s death. We have missing ghosts and other ghosts trapped in places. You saw the photos I got. Since then, we’ve identified who are the other ghosts. We have fairy involvement and native natu

Hello, so I just finish the 1st chapter, honestly, I think you introduced too many characters in the first chapter, why don't you focus on the MC and the husband and wife first. You can introduce the other staffs later when they play a role in the chapter. Good luck!

I love the way you tell us about all the different people that are going to be in the book. I like how each chapter is about one set of characters and how they are part of the whole tapestry of the story. Love that there's a Boggart in your book, they really are very mischievous but don't mean harm.

Middle Land

Middle Land

Ghosts must be real. The ghost stories here are too many to keep track of, although Leonard knew them all. "Which story is this ghost from, Leonard?" I had a bit of liquid courage left. Leonard didn't answer me but I had hope that he'd hit the security button at his desk. It was a silent alarm. Then it spoke. "I guess you could say a ghost and I share a few things in common, but no love, I'm no ghost. Tethered spirits and lost souls are what humans call "ghosts"."

NOT ME

NOT ME

I gulped hard, and Dor—Bor—Hamdan shot the black figure first. Bruk— thefigure fell right in front of me. My eyes widen, his hands full of wounds. I looked at Hamdan who instead casually pulled the figure's hair and looked at him with a flat face. I'm already shaking, his eyes pop out. “This is still not similar to kuntilanak. I didn't even show Uncle there was still an Indonesian element. This really irritates me, how could uncle make this ghost to scare us? Will there ever be a ghost like this? Basic!"

The Haciendero

The Haciendero

Aslan, despite his age at the time, was still reeling in young women eager for some kind of “experience.” But she had to admit, the mention of the manananggal earlier had sent chills down her spine. It reminded her of an old story she’d heard as a child. During gatherings and celebrations in the hacienda, the staff would tell tales about a woman who lived near the river, close to the waterfall. Supposedly, her body would split in half, sprouting wings, and she would hunt at night. It’s ridiculous. In her world of science and medicine, stories like that didn’t hold any weight. Still, it didn’t hurt to believe just a little—at least enough to make sure she didn’t end up as prey to some mananan

"Well, if you haven't noticed so far, we're investigating a case dating nearly forty years back. So far without any lead to prove it's the work of a person and not what people say it to be." "Ugh, you're talking about that stuff? What did people call it again? Samodivas? You believe the cause of all murders is some forest ghosts?" I burst into laughter. This is ridiculous. "Well, can you prove it otherwise?" His question makes my smile frown. Can I prove it? So far I have had no success. But I refuse to believe the cause of all problems is a ghost. Or more like 'unearthly beautiful spirits that lurk in the nights' if I must quote all the people I interrogated so far.
