Marked Against My Will

Marked Against My Will

Peace demands internal discipline without fear. Mara watched the Northern Expanse glow faintly beneath moonlight. Two systems. Separate. Aware. Choosing restraint as often as collaboration. And somewhere beneath the quiet sky— Both were modeling the same truth: Evolution is not just adaptation to pressure. It is conscious protection of identity. The wind moved gently across the ridge. No hum of conflict. No urgency. Only the subtle tension of two intelligences growing side by side— Close enough to learn. Far enough to remain themselves. And that tension—

The transparent being only knew three divisions.'

I really liked this book. Too bad it ends after 36 chapters and hasn't been added to in a couple of weeks. If y'all want people to pay to read your books, at least write something. This is the second book, this has happened with. I think I'm done with good novel.

Great story!! refreshing to read something different then other books on good novel. loved the complexity of the worlds and characters. would have been nice to have it a bit longer, and more lucas scenes, but still greatly enjoyed it. looking forward to the next book!

Into Eve

Into Eve

Kassie Jeannemy mind went blank
She would remain. Heath was introduced to each Horseman at the end of the meeting that night. He learned that he was now called a Revelations Soldier. He was handed a Bylaws and Beliefs Bible and a handful of instructional pamphlets on making preparations for surviving the Apocalypse. His mind raced. His excitement grew. His curiosity peaked. Could any of the ideas thrown around the room that night actually be based on any factual reality? Heath was a logical, relational thinker. He had to PROVE theory before he could believe it as reality. Somehow though, the idea of a finite limit to the seemingly endless and pointless life of man energized Heath. He wanted to believe in it's truth value.

was the "Worker." "The 'Infinite-Cycle' is self-sustaining," Audrey’s voice echoed through the "Total-Field" of the Multiverse. "The 'Pressure' generates the 'Friction,' the 'Friction' generates the 'Quintessence,' and the 'Quintessence' feeds the 'Engine.' We have built a machine that 'Grows' by the mere act of 'Functioning.' We have achieved 'Perpetual-Sovereignty'."

He continued. "I'm Rowena, the second eldest." The old woman introduced herself. "And I am Dorothy, the third eldest." The other old man with white curly hair said. "It's an honor to meet you, elders." I bowed again. "It's an honor to meet you too, princess Nemiah. You even came from another world just to fulfill the prophecy. We have seen your sacrifices and we appreciate your perseverance. But don't worry, this chaos will finally come to an end and you'll be able to go back to your real world." The first elder seemed to know a lot about me. I was astounded, unable to respond.

Emergence

Emergence

"Whatever you are, good or bad, I'll accept it all." The once proud genius lowered his head, his tone pleading. "Elara, can you forgive me and come back to me?" I shook my head. He still did not understand. Our relationship was like a gorgeous robe crawling with lice. No matter how much the surface was addressed, the rotten foundation remained. What I wanted was never condescending acceptance from above, but mutual respect between equals. I hoped that even if he could not understand my thoughts and choices, he could respect them and not freely judge or interfere.

The Lost Princess of the Alpha King

"I am already queen. I have already shaped the future." "Yes. But there is more. There is always more. The Infinite is not a destination. It is a journey. A never-ending journey of becoming." I look at the Infinite. "Then I choose to become. I choose to grow. I choose to love. I choose to remember. I choose to shape the future with compassion and wisdom." The Infinite's light pulses with warmth. "Then you are ready. Ready to complete the circle. Ready to become the one who brings everything back to where it began."

Genesis

Life at Solus Institute? It could've been a good one, sure. That is, if you were born there, if the sterile, regulated halls were all you’d ever known. But for me? Yeah, that’s where it got a little iffy. My life before Solus was a real one, a good one. Heck, a great one. I had a mom, a whole crew of friends, and yeah, even love. The kind of messy, complicated, wonderful love that doesn’t always fit into neat little boxes. Solus Institute was just a fancy way of saying "orphanage for supernatural kids." A home for children who lost all family, who were just alone in the world. It’s got that official, clinical vibe, you know?

Adam & Eve

Adam & Eve

“No Mom, nothing like that. I just need for you to tell my again, and don’t leave any details out.” “Well, okay baby. When you were born you had an extra rib. The doctor joked that you may be the new living Eve and had the rib of your Adam. It only occurs in 0.2% to 0.5% or about 1 in 500 people, which makes you special. So, we didn’t hesitate in naming you Eve. I whole heartedly believe you are a gift baby and that your Adam is out there with the missing the rib, my dear, that you hold. He is who God has for you. No, you are not supposed to start the world over but you two are meant to be together.” I sat there stunned. I had heard the story plenty of times but it wasn’t relevant until this

Infinite Has Two Mates

Infinite Has Two Mates

I positioned myself in front of the hall, not obstructing the entrance and waited patiently. After several minutes, a tall guy who bore a resemblance to me approached. He had a more toned physique, tall and darker skin, that framed his somewhat menacing expression. "Are you Infinite?" he inquired, his gaze unwavering as he stood before me. A year had passed and recognition eluded us. "Yes, are you my older brother?" I asked, causing him to flinch at the question. "Use my name. Follow me, and I'll show you where you'll be staying. Hurry, I have a lot of things to do," he commanded, striding off without offering any assistance with my belongings.
