I was at the top of the castle, with the largest view covering the whole borders of the Star Raiders pack and beyond. “Welcome Alpha!”Trevor welcomed me, already there. “Here!” Trevor handed me a device. ‘Wolf Eyes’ A device that can see objects even thousands of miles away. I grabbed and wore it across my face. There he was! Valari, riding his horse, far beyond the packs boundaries. The Wolf Eyes could cover even only so far, but now we had a reason to be bring him in for questioning. I pulled it off, turned ready to leave. “Bring him in for questioning tommorow!” I said to Trevor, my voice heavy.

"Lily." The Child’s voice cracks. They hover beside Eos, a hand resting on the trembling shell. Starlight bleeds from their eyes, mirroring Eos’s distress. "They’re coming. Too soon. The strain… it’s fracturing adjacent dimensional membranes. Sector Gamma-7 just… folded."

“Tell me more.” Lucas hesitated for a moment, taken aback by Sebastian’s genuine curiosity. I turn towards the small light voice and see Delilah staring into my eyes. She lifts her head up a smidge and I notice she is wearing her black tank that has the Creations logo on it. I stared at his features in momentary awe: his eyes were big and bright and blue, almost electric in their intensity. The eyes of an inexperienced man who hadn't yet seen the rougher side of life; probably nineteen or twenty years old, not much older than me. Theo took in a deep breathe, he fisted his hands and closed his eyes, his head raised up to the sky. As soon as the first light of the moon touched his body, he shuddered. His whole body was consumed by the light in mere seconds. I took a step forward in anticipation, my eyes wide open, breathe still stuck in my wind pipe. Then it happened, a beam of white light spread through out Theo's body, the intensity of the energy had him fall down on his knees. I came out of my hiding spot, I wanted to run upto him but the next thing stopped me.

It was heavy, the servos whining as the neural-links connected to his spine. When he clenched his fist, a blast of kinetic energy flared from the gauntlets. The ground was so hot that even through their thick, rubber-soled boots, Audrey could feel the soles beginning to soften. "Don't look at the anchors directly!" Lucas warned, his light-arm glowing with a violent, unstable violet hue. "If you see the point where the light meets the iron, it’ll burn your retinas through your goggles." They moved toward the first tether. It looked like a solid spear of golden energy, ten feet thick, vibrating with a low, bone-shaking hum. The air around the anchor was distorted, shimmering with the intense ozone of the Southern technology. "How do we cut a beam of light?" one of the scouts whispered, his voice trembling.
