Ink Devotion Novels & Stories

I stopped in front of the vast blue, watching the waves break on the sand, feeling the soft wind shake my hair and the salty smell of the sea fill my senses. That's when something in the movement of the waves caught my eye. A wave broke, carrying a small silver object that stopped at my feet. Curious, I looked closer and saw it was a rosary—worn black beads with a silver cross that caught the last rays of the sun. I bent down to pick it up, holding it carefully in my hands, and I couldn't help but think of him. Of that tattoo on his skin. Of what it meant to him. The memories hit me with a force that almost made me lose my balance.

"Genevieve came to me in a dream and scolded me for the way I treated her dear mentee. She's holding it against me. I was supposed to be her only…" His voice trailed off. When she was alive, Genevieve had told him more than once that they were just friends. But he had never been able to let her go. He had always held on to his unrequited love, always wanting to be with her. "Dad, she's passed away. How much longer are you planning to obsess over her?" Ingrid asked, utterly at a loss. Erwin flew into a rage. "Don't you dare speak to me like that! My feelings are real. You wouldn't understand."

Not quite yet. However, I know in my heart that she is correct. His body trembles with each breath, and I can see it in his eyes. He's exhausted from working so hard for so long. He is prepared to leave. As I tighten my grip on his hand and implore the Moon Goddess for a miracle or anything that will allow me to have him here with me for a little while longer, tears cloud my vision. The Moon Goddess, however, says nothing. And I am aware that there are no more wonders.

Inhaling sharply, I slowly walked towards the altar. “Zita!” I suddenly heard a voice scream from behind, and I quickly spun around to see who it was. My heart dropped to the bottom of my chest when I saw him stumbling into the church. Stanley. He was drunk as fuck. What the fuck was he doing here? He wasn’t supposed to be here. He would get himself killed. Without hesitation, I quickly started approaching him to scream some sense into him and drag him out of here before Papa murdered him. Just as I walked past Lazzaro, he leapt to his feet and grabbed my arm, pulling me back.

"Ink, you are an Orangelo Omega. We can make the Innehavre bond with anyone, or anything, we choose. My Innehavre is the most adorable Demon you will ever meet." "A Demon..." Ink looked up, surprised. Then the full weight of his words hit Ink's heart. "You mean..." "If you desire it." The god nodded. Ink's paw went to the blank spot over his heart where he bore none of his Marks, the spot he was saving to be Marked with the symbol of his sacred bondmate. "Yes. More than anything." "And you desire it with this tom?" Jinx's paw tapped Priest's chest in the same spot Ink was clutching on his own chest.

Alessandro cuddles Matteo to his chest muttering into little Matteo's ear, but we can all hear what he just said. "Ilaria will always be your favourite mio figlio. Sempri." Alessandro mutters, looking at me with a strange look in his eye that I can't decifer. Santino scoffs next to me, his arm falling off my shoulder. Looking towards the last one, I notice that he is the largest of all of them. Black hair and intense blue eyes. Piercings in his ears, nose, and lip, as well as tattoos down the whole of his neck and arms that poke through the fabric of his suit.

“Want to change your mind?” “Not a chance in hell.” I was a little shocked that I didn’t feel the least bit nervous about walking into the chapel with Elvis standing up front behind a podium and under an archway of the ugliest artificial flowers I had ever seen. I felt confident. I held Trent’s hand in mine as we took our positions up front. There was one older woman sitting in the front row of folding chairs, wearing a leopard-print shirt and black pants. She was our witness. We followed the directions given by Elvis and his helper, reciting our boilerplate vows before being pronounced husband and wife.

When Seva stood up for Chase, a warning bell rang inside Ophelia. Could Seva be interested in Chase? Seva was stubborn and arrogant. Why would she defend a disciple who was new to the sect? Ophelia took a deep breath. Seva was such a thick-skinned b*tch. Ophelia decided to teach her a lesson. While Chase was playing the recording for everyone, he observed all of their expressions. He was now enlightened in nine Orders of the Path, and there was a weapon of the Order of the Path known as the Nether Deity Bead inside his sea of consciousness. His mind and soul had been greatly strengthened, and he could multitask with his mind with no problems at all.

Behind me, Stella cried out in despair: "Matteo, didn't you love me for ten years? Do you have to be this cruel?" I didn't break stride, and her voice cracked. "I'm sorry, Matteo! I'm so sorry!" My fingers curled at her apology, but I didn't look back. Outside, the sunlight hit me, warm and golden. A decade was wasted on misplaced devotion, but I believed the future held happiness for me. After all, I'd found the girl who'd waited ten years for me.

He looked both shattered and broken, and my heart ached. The door to the passenger seat was unlocked, so I opened it and got in. I did not sense any pain being transmitted through my mate bond with Damon. I knew that he had hidden his emotions for my sake. He looked at me and said slowly, "Did you come to dissolve our mate bond?" I looked at the potion bottle that Helena had given me, which Damon was holding tightly. He sounded choked up, and I felt a wave of guilt. "N-No. I'm not."
