Novel & Cerita Inside Castle Walls

He ran breathlessly, only longing to reach the castle. They arrived at a Cascade: aquarium-blue and filling the air in their space with goodness. They had some rest, only then did he notice that Alpha Marcus had already passed out. He increased his pace until an ancient castle came into view. The castle was tall like skyscrapers having over ten floors in it. It was fortified with thick metallic walls roundabout it. This fortification was meant to destroy any vampire that attempts to come into their territory.

The rest of the island was completely consumed by a thick forest. As Caitlin flew in the air, up and down on the wind currents, turning and swooping and diving, she circled the island again. The castle was huge, magnificent. Parts of it were crumbling, but other parts, those hidden from outside view, in the interior, were perfectly intact. There were inner courtyards and outer courtyards, ramparts, turrets, winding staircases, and acres and acres of gardens. It was large enough to hold a small army.

Lydia The guards drag me out of the dungeon and through a series of labyrinth-like hallways, making it difficult for me to remember the path. They walk quickly, forcing me to jog to keep up with them. They don’t slow down, but I manage not to trip as we go upstairs into what I’m assuming is the first floor of the castle. The hallway is dark and lit only by torch sconces on the walls. The walls are made of a dark gray stone, and there are several portraits of vampires that look like the tall man from the dungeon. They all have the same dark hair and red eyes. The cruel curve of their mouths practically mocks me. They’re all wearing simple circlet crowns.

After all, during her Choosing, she’d have to learn the names of each Representative from all forty-two provinces, so she may as well start practicing with her guardsmen. “All right,” Avinia announced, drawing Kit right up next to the window. It was one of several that covered a large expanse of the wall in this section of the castle. It looked out on a courtyard surrounded by other exterior walls of Wrenbrook, so there was little threat of anyone invading the castle and using these large windows for their first entry point. Three such windows ran in intervals along the hallway here, and Kit enjoyed pacing this hall on days when it was misty so she couldn’t go outside but needed as much sunl

"Let's go see the Alpha." As Liam followed the guard through the passageway, his eyes widened in awe at the sight before him. The sprawling castle was a wonder to behold, with soaring towers that reached towards the sky and walls that seemed to stretch for miles. The stone walls were a deep shade of gray, giving the castle an ancient, weathered look.

Caleb promises. He nods his head and Carson carries him into the car. With his directions, we are able to reach the so-called castle before we know it. There's a huge wall surrounding the said castle, and scary-looking guards stand outside the front gate. “What the fuck is this? The great wall of China?" Caleb snickers. “Don't curse, Caleb. There's a child in here." Carson scolds Caleb. “Whatever." Carson horns repeatedly, hoping the guards would open the gates. To our surprise, they don't even pay us any attention.

It was a lot to take in at first sight and I knew that even after a week here, there would still be a whole lot to learn and discover in this castle. I felt tiny inside the castle. Like I should not be here. I kept stealing glances to my side at Conrad trying to observe how he behaved. He kept his head straight as he walked, he did not look regard the art works on the wall or the germs on the curtains even for a second. “We are here,” he called. “Where?” We stood in front of a large door that had two golden wolf heads embodied into the door as its handle. The door had a silver lining and a pattern made of brass that drew something I was too overwhelmed to understand yet.

Deadly men guarded the halls, guards dressed in black, guns strapped to their belts, eyes sharp and cold. The castle’s entrance doors were massive, carved from dark oak, the Romano crest emblazoned in gold. Inside, everything smelled like cigar smoke and wet stone. The rain had stopped, but the floors were still slippery with dampness. I squared my shoulders, gathered my courage, and walked through the heavy mist of the courtyard. As I wandered the endless, winding halls of Castello Romano, the walls stretched endlessly, every turn looking the same, making my heart hammer faster the deeper I went.

The soft echo of my footsteps reverberated against the stone walls. As I gazed upon the numerous portraits of the Van De Vord family adorning the castle walls, I couldn’t help but notice the grandeur of each piece. From floor to ceiling, these portraits depicted various members of their esteemed family. The look of their eyes followed me, their expressions frozen in time. Some looked stoic, others wore sly smiles, but all seemed to hold a certain air of superiority.

“Take him out of the trunk and bring him to the isolation room. Do everything you can to find out who orchestrated the attack.” “I will, Mr. Maverick.” Julian continued inside as the guard opened up the double doors. This was a castle…no less. Cream-coloured walls with a streak of gold in the centre stretched high toward a vaulted ceiling. Paintings of historic landscapes hung heavy in frames, illuminated by the crystal chandelier that cast a warm, glittering light over the polished marble floor. Larisa had barely finished taking in the view when a clinking sound echoed from the grand staircase.
