Inside Castle Walls Novels & Stories

“Do you care that much about age?” I stopped. I turned my face a little, without fully looking at him. “I do not understand.” “This castle is old.” He looked around, his eyes moving over the walls. “These walls have seen too much.” My stomach tightened. “And they tell everything that happens in the corridors,” he continued. “One of those walls told me it saw you and the king yesterday.” “Old and lying walls, apparently,” I answered. Romeo’s eyes gleamed in a way that needed no explanation. He knew I was lying.

When I exit the castle doors, eight warriors come in front of me with a carriage. Yes the security. I tell them that I have no need of carriage as it would waste my time. I walk and they surround me. This is worst then Prayag but for Rudra I tolerate it. I see a very sturdy and huge place next to castle wall. If I am not wrong this place is made that way that heavy snowfall doesn't damages this place as it has cover of huge wall surrounding the castle. So this place must be important. I start to go inside but my guards hesitate. I raise my brows at them and nod for them to follow me. The place is huge and has big ground too. But it also looks bleak.

As their car approached palace gates, she gasped. Six strong, square towers formed an almost perfectly squared barrier around the marvelous castle and were connected by strengthened, solid walls made of dark grey stone. Stylish windows were scattered here and there across the walls in a seemingly random pattern, along with small holes for archers and artillery. A moderate gate with huge metal doors, a draw bridge and a moat offered a warm haven within the cold, isolated lands and it was the only way in, if you could make it, that is. Well kept gardens with fragrant flowers, gorgeous trees and many bushes decorated the outside of the castle. The place had clearly stood the test of time and it

The less time she spent smashed up against him, the better. She made sure she avoided him as they climbed up onto the pale, rampart walls that were the fortress's most notable feature. The walls cut across the crest of the hill, guarding the castle's inner buildings and standing watch over the city. The slope beneath the castle was blanketed in trees - eucalyptus, and pines, and others Sloane didn't recognize - all the way down to the Alcazaba, the Moorish palace that sat at the base of the hill.

She suddenly felt very alone amongst all of the people swirling around them. Elric led her down the large hallway. Saffron gazed up at the soaring cathedral styled ceilings. She had only ever seen the castle from a distance and now she was in its depths. It was built from heavy stones, but the inside had been whitewashed to give it a brighter appearance. The walls were adorned with portraits of the royal family dating back generations. Saffron didn't have time to appreciate them as Elric opened a giant wooden door to their right.

Roots tripped my feet. Rex caught me. Pulled me up. "Almost there." The wall appeared. Stone. Old. Moss-covered. A door. Wooden. Small. Hidden. Rex pushed it open. We walked inside. The castle was dark. Torches on the walls. Flickering. Smoking. The floor was stone. The ceiling was high. Rex pulled out his gun. "Stay behind me." "No. Stay beside me. Together." He looked at me. Nodded.

Peace remained intact, and no one openly questions the werewolves' rule, until…. * * The wind blows gently, carrying a serene stillness as the morning drifts into the afternoon. Outside the royal castle of the pack, children play, showing off their powers to one another, all full of laughter. The castle stands tall and imposing, its round towers piercing the sky, exuding an aura of power. Vast, solid walls of rare and expensive golden stones encircle the stronghold, reinforced with other precious minerals. Scattered across these walls are finely crafted windows, seemingly placed at random, accompanied by overhanging crenelations designed for archers and defense mechanisms. A massive metal ga

This was the only place left I needed to search. I examined the structure of its stony walls. I could see the visible traps of the castle. Huge spikes dwindled by vines and mold. If one were too careless, they would find themselves impaled. The ground was suspicious. Booby traps, wires, an unlimited number of visible spikes to skewer you- something tells me that whatever was inside the castle intended the people to stay out. "Now, now, where should I head inside?" I saw no doors, nor crevices to slide or climb upon. The wall was silky smooth and protected. The poison ivy vines crawled atop this wall, adding more to the challenge. And not to mention, it is dark and I only have a few pieces of

The entrance and exits are tightly controlled by the guard. If someone were to escape, it would have to be carefully planned. I can understand why meeting Cassiphone here is not ideal. The castle rises from the center of the city like a glistening jewel. The walls are made of white stone that reflects the light of the sun. When the sun shines fully on it, it is almost painful to cast your gaze upon it for too long. Around the castle is the bustling capital. The closer you get to the castle the nicer the area. Osiris has an apartment located just outside the main castle walls. Your worth is measured by the number of gates you pass through, each city within the city more prestigious, until the

As Dorin did, he felt as if he passed a kind of membrane, but the professor held his hand, as well as Josiah's, and they were able to make it inside the grounds. They walked for a couple of minutes more until a grand castle come into view. The castle stood in the midst of a vast clearing, surrounded by a wall of trees. Its grey walls looked ancient with moss and lichen growing from its cracks and covering it with vines. There was a veil of mystery that seemed to be holding the whole castle together. From the thick cracked walls to its high towers with its gleaming roof that showed a couple of missing tiles. There was an actual moat surrounding it, spanning about 4 meters across, but due to a
