Inside Castle Walls Novels & Stories

Eight thin, square towers reach twice the height of the next tallest building in this elegant castle and are connected by strengthened, thin walls made of dark brownstone. Small windows are scattered here and there across the walls in a seemingly random pattern. A vast gate with wide metal doors, towering twelve feet stood erect. Statues of woman warriors are lined up outside of the castle gates, serving as reminders of the past. This castle has stood the test of time and despite knowing some very rough times, the castle still stands and it looks like it will do so for many years to come.

“Ye lads got more ‘crew?’ We’re gonna need security. And an advanced alarm system. I want this place sealed tighter than the crown jewels.” Callum grinned, slipping an arm around my waist. “Aye, lass. We’ve got more crew. And they’ll be glad tae move in.” Keiran kissed the side of my head. “This castle’s gonna be the safest bloody fortress in the country.” I smiled. “Good. Because this is home now. And I want all of us protected.” As if to prove my point, a set of French doors at the end of the hall opened to reveal a view of the inner courtyard. There were stone paths, lush gardens, and a huge central fountain pouring into the moat beyond. Yes. The actual moat.

The inside of the castle wasn’t what I had expected. Then again, nothing in the Iridescence Pack had mirrored my expectations. Multi-colored beams of sunlight streamed through the glass ceiling. The ceiling above the foyer was made of different colored glass, creating an incredibly realistic mural. Two bulls, one white and the other black, were locked at the horns. They stood in a beautiful garden, lush with flowers I had never seen before.

A circle! We left the dorms and passed through the long corridors of the castle's craft workshops, the housekeeper calmly explained to me the purpose of each room and the meaning of the rare statues that decorated the walls. Castile Castle was much larger than any other fortress in Kreg, but, on the other hand, it was simple and objective. As I said before, some statues of knights and masters of the craft were the only decorations in the immense corridors. The workshops were practical and designed only to assist the craft master in his tasks. The red carpet, in contrast to the white clay brick walls, was the only thing that always reminded me that we were still in a nobility enclosure.

“Something doesn’t feel right.” She’s right about that. A strange creeping sensation settles in the pit of my stomach as we pick up the pace and walk briskly through the Garden District, which is full of beautiful townhomes and gardens. A lit pathway leads directly to the castle, and we cross several more bridges before we reach the front gates. Thick walls made of light stone block the view of the massive tropical gardens within the castle walls, guarded by two men and two wolves. Their royal guard regalia glimmers in the stormy light as we approach, but their heads are arched to the sky.

I whispered, just to close the matter. I let him take me to the interior of the castle, where the walls were no longer as red as its exterior. They were made of pure gold, from the ground to the vaulted ceiling that exhibited images of winged creatures and snakes in crimson forms. A white marble staircase extended upwards and divided into two other stairs in opposite directions. Composed of numerous pilasters and alcoves that certainly led to several rooms, each of the walls of the castle was adorned with seven-pointed chandeliers, all burning gently with scented jasmine candles. I took a deep breath, pleasantly feeling that inside it was easier to breathe and much less hot.

With these words Prince Fredrick walks out of the cell. BEGINNING OF THE END The Castle of Riana, this carefree structure took hold of the north section in the first district. Having high thick stone walls with a battlement round about the compound, the entrance into the castle has a portcullis which was always open, for Riana isn't expecting an attack anytime soon. The only structure which was present, stands in the middle of the compound; a two story building made of thick gray stones, having a wide balcony on the second floor - this building is held at bay by a keep on each side, three story high.

Beyond the wall, a tall, wide castle with towers, tall windows and balconies adorned with white, black and red roses with foliage hanging in cascades. A long staircase stretches from the stone garden to the oval main door of worked glass. Up the stairway vines twine themselves into the banister, and at the foot of the stairway are two statues of white lions standing guard. Tall pilasters with rubies set up spans to guard the castle. But to protect the castle from prying eyes, tall trees with dry stems and leaves are intertwined tightly together with many thorns. close together with many thorns. Inside the castle the ceiling is oval with images of former queens, the walls are white stone and

His gaze is so intense and wild, so different from when we were younger. "Wall?" Is the best I can say "Look at the castle you want to attend.” Alfred suggests and my curious eyes follow the direction of his index finger. And he is right. The Rockefeller mansion looks so different from last year. There are high walls all around, protecting access to the interior, successfully hiding the walls in white tones, the same way a pearl is hidden at the bottom of the ocean. So, I wonder, what else might have changed? ✧✧

Pulte said. Pulte was worried about what might happen. He called Ravitz again and this time he quickly answered. "What's going on? What's happening?" Pulte asked. "Oh, get inside the bunkers and guide other people near you to safety. We're in level 3, the monsters have increased in the northwest wall and a couple of them are already above the city." "Have you contacted the doctors? Are they safe?" "Don't worry, the headquarters is the safest place in the city. Most of the people have already gone underground and uh-"
