GENEVIEVE have not slept all night. And that is sort of a problem because I become jittery and a bit neurotic when I do not sleep. Insomnia and I aren’t strangers, especially since I did not manage to completely desensitize myself to that word. It might be written in a red Sharpie because it is one of the words I struggle with the most. Along with death. I think I also need to add moving on to the red list because I can not do that. I am supposed to, I have to, but my mind is stuck in a different type of loop that I can not escape.

Damon got his work very late than his usual time. He had been unable to get a proper sleep during the night since he's suffering from insomnia, which he thought he had overcome in the past few years. He did not seem surprised to have the same sleeping disorder, just like he used to before now. When it was dawn, he wasn't in the appropriate mode to go to work which result to him going very late. I really do. Insomnia isn’t a small thing. It’s not just “can’t sleep.” It messes with your head, your body, your emotions. Add anxiety on top of that, and it becomes dangerous. And then there’s the worst part, Daniel doesn’t like being alone. He hates it. He pretends he doesn’t, but I see it. That mix alone is fucked up.
