The Lycan King's Curse

The Lycan King's Curse

Each flutter of paper carried the weight of centuries-old knowledge, as if the very essence of the curse lingered within the inked imprints. Page after page slipped through her fingers, time standing still in the midst of our shared quest for answers. The rustle of parchment echoed like a whisper in the dimly lit space, punctuating the silence that enveloped us. And then, as if guided by an invisible hand, Lucy's searching eyes found the middle of the book, the coveted chapter that held the potential to unveil the secrets I so desperately sought.

Secrets of Time

Secrets of Time

I'm almost at the end of the book that I found a while ago, I'm slowly getting bored as time passes by for it was only useless but what can I do? I need to find something and I can't just discard this book and find another clue without checking all the pages in it. I wasn't really reading it, I was just flipping it till I reached the three-fourth of it. I'm only reading the last and the first sentence to check something that is not connected in it and that is when the content suddenly changed and all of it seems to not be completed. The first ones are about predictions of the past people of what the future will be but this seems to just be added here by someone. I think this book has been ex

The Forgotten Heiress: Rise of The Lycan Queen

The Forgotten Heiress: Rise of The Lycan Queen

Golden light fell in a perfect circle, catching her small, trembling hands as she opened the final page. It was blank. But not empty. The book did not speak in words alone. It breathed. As her fingers brushed the parchment, images flickered in the air—images so vivid she felt she might step into them. She saw Elara standing beneath a sky torn by thunder and fire, hair loose, eyes wide with defiance and hope, her hands always empty, always open. She saw Kael, tall and silent, his presence steady as a tree in storm, a gentle shadow at Elara’s side.

Hiding His Heir: The Rejected Luna’s Return

Hiding His Heir: The Rejected Luna’s Return

His fountain pen moved with a rhythmic, scratching sound that was the literal heartbeat of their world. "An epilogue is a dangerous thing, Lyra Thorne," the Author said, his voice sounding like the wind through the pines of a thousand years ago. "It’s where the 'Reader' expects the 'Lesson' to be summarized. It’s where the 'Ache' is supposed to be put to rest. By coming here, you have 'Re-opened' the wound."

Destined to Reign

Destined to Reign

I watched as the book absorbed the blood leaving no stains or traces of any blood. “No way!” I watched in amazement as the book glowed and words began to appear on the pages of the book. As the words completely appeared, I began reading the content on the pages. It was more of a history book than anything else. There was something inside here about a prophecy, but what caught my attention is the name of the person being mention the most. Adelina Illezra. Huh?

Vengeful Sisters

Vengeful Sisters

She instinctively lurked around once again then back to the book in her hand; her brows slightly creased as she wondered on how it fell so easily without any interference She stared at it for some seconds and raised her shoulder in a half shrug, returning the book in it's place. Just then, the door swung opened with a great force– followed by Isla’s witty giggles which had Phidel swiftly glance at it. “Hey–” She chuckled with a furrowed brow, seeing the state of ecstasy Isla was in. “What’s up with you?” She queried, approaching Isla who was standing beside the bed with smiles dancing merrily on her lips.

I answer here. "Nice choice. That's good." Yuwe said to me and turned his attention back to the book he was reading. I just opened the book and the first thing that caught my eye was the foreword. I didn't even pay attention to the foreword and turned to the next page and immediately saw the introduction. Welcome to Pandora's Mythology. This book contains the past and future. Please read for a better understanding. That's all it says so I turned to the next page.

The Crippled Billionaire's Darling Wife

The Crippled Billionaire's Darling Wife

June places beside her her earlier and took a sip before turning to the next page of the book she was reading. The book was a psychological thriller and it had hints of mystery in it. Whilst she read, her lips were pressed into a thin line as she had reached a cliffhanger. Hailey normally detested cliffhanger especially when the book was still ongoing however the book in her hand was quite an interesting one so she was willing to read carefully and wait for the next chapter. She put a bookmark in the book and stood io from the rocking chair she was relaxing on, slipping her feet into the pair of lounge slippers she brought and walked out of the lounge. She needed to use the restroom.

The King's faceless wife.

The King's faceless wife.

Mirra eyes lord Jeremy for a second and I could still see the hesitation in her when she's around men who aren't Sir Hunder or my father. Taking a deep breath, Mirra stepped closer to us and sat down at the chair next to me. "So... I've been reading these few pages over and ove again but it felt like I was missing something." She commented as she opened the book right where she had marked it. "It explained the meeting of the four horsemen and then the war but then there is a skip. Like right in the middle of the war they suddenly won. It didn't make sense to me so I read it over and over again before I understood what was wrong. Look at the paper numbers."

I’ve been hocked on this story. Glad I started reading this book when it was completed though because I also hate with a passion the waiting for updates. At first this Bar, future King needed a royal kick in the behind did he really think she had a choice in any of this.

I LOVE this book! It’s the only book I’ve really kept up with that wasn’t complete yet when I started reading it I waited for the daily updates and I’m not the waiting type. Usually I lose interest after awhile but this book hooked me in and continued to keep me hook. Thank you for this amazing book

Carrying The Alpha's Heir

Carrying The Alpha's Heir

Delilah, momentarily taken aback, found herself caught in the whimsical dance of family dynamics, a lighthearted touch enhancing the tableau of their countryside escapade. The unspoken promise of more delightful moments lingered in the air as Nathan's horseback adventure awaited, framed by the rustic charm of the farmhouse and the bond shared among its occupants. [Hello lovely readers! Welcome to my book! Hope you are enjoying it! Please support me by leaving me a rating and review! Your precious words mean the world to me! Love you all!]

Frequently Asked Questions

There's something oddly comforting about interludes in novels — they act like a deep breath between pushes and pulls of the main story. For me, interludes show up most clearly at structural seams: between parts or books, as short POV vignettes, or as an italicized aside. They often carry thematic weight, letting the author unpack symbols or let a side character breathe. I love when a novel tucks a quiet moment after a major scene so you can feel the reverberations; those moments can reframe everything that came before.

Technically, you'll find interlude meaning in prologues and epilogues, in epigraphs, in footnotes or endnotes (hello, 'Infinite Jest'), and even in appendices like the ones in 'The Lord of the Rings'. Sometimes the interlude is a flashback or a letter, other times it's a dream or a descriptive passage that slows time. They can be structural (bridging plot arcs), tonal (shifting voice), or thematic (amplifying the book's motif). Personally, when I edit my drafts I treat interludes like seasoning — too much and the story gets muddled, just enough and it brings out hidden flavors.
