I hugged my doll and looked down. We walked to a big house and I saw a lot of men. My lips shook. I didn’t see mommy anywhere. The man made me sit down on the sofa. I looked down at my feet. They told me mommy will come soon. “Boss,” a lot of men spoke and I looked up. The strange men who walked in looked at me and I looked away. I saw his shiny shoes when he walked in front of me. I made a sound when he lifted my head and I looked at him hugging my doll tighter.

A strange man is sitting too close to me on the couch. He leans in and takes a strand of my hair, sniffing it. I freeze. "We are going to be a really happy family," he says. "Isn’t that right, little doll?" "I am going to be your big daddy," he adds. "Come on, little doll, say daddy for me," he grips my chin, pulling me closer. I remain silent. "Say it, or else I will get mad, and you don’t want me to get mad, do you?" he growls, his voice slipping into madness for a moment before returning to normal.

I can feel what happens to it!” “Connected?” I cleared my throat, “Just because you’re handsome doesn’t mean I’ll believe everything that comes out of your mouth, dude.” “No! You don’t get it! I can actually feel everything that’s done to the doll!” I smiled and calmed myself before replying, “I told you the doll was weird, didn’t I? So, what happened to it?” “I gave it away. I gave it to one of the more handsome ones when we were at the park yesterday.”
