A Gift from the Goddess

A Gift from the Goddess

Not even if they were people I’d once met. Quickly, I shook my head. Getting sentimental now was absurd given they were only here tonight specifically looking to cut me down for being a ‘devil’. Merely my birth and existence were enough evidence for them to want my head. I shouldn’t grant them any leniency. And so I moved from rooftop to rooftop, focusing on the task at hand instead. Scouring every alley carefully for even the slightest sign of them. …A sign that I did eventually find. Cloaks caught my attention first, the attire standing out amongst typical modern fashion you’d find in Lockdale. These were the same cloaks I’d seen warriors of Ashwood wear in the past, it apparently being op

I just finished reading this story, and I have to say: I am speechless. This is the first story on this app that has completely captivated me. Finally, there are fresh, new plot elements—instead of the usual clichés you read on this app time and time again.

Who's The Loser Heir?

Who's The Loser Heir?

“We’ve been fighting in the dark since before they were born. Charles, take the left. Baron, the right. I’ll take the center.” The commandos moved with a mechanical precision, their sensors scanning for thermal signatures. But the Old Guard didn't have thermal signatures—at least, not ones the commandos could detect. They were wearing "Reaper Shrouds"—low-tech, thermally-inert cloaks designed by the Krauser Kartel specifically for close-quarters ambush.

Scorned Luna To Alpha Queen

Scorned Luna To Alpha Queen

He held it out to Lyralei without ceremony. It was a Shadowfang cloak with thick, dark, practical fabric that would keep out wind and cold and rain without weighing someone down. Inside the clasp, Lyralei saw a small token carved with Shadowfang's mark. "The cloak will keep you warm," Joefrey said in a flat, tactical tone. "The token will let Shadowfang scouts know you are under my protection if you cross our borders again." He said it like a precaution but Lyralei knew it was not just that. She took the cloak carefully and ran her fingers over the token, noticing the simple but deliberate carving that someone had spent time on. She looked up at Joefrey but his face gave nothing away.

The resonance arrays were active. "The scanners will pick up your hybrid signature the moment we cross the bridge," Elior said. His knuckles were white against the steering wheel. "We are walking into a slaughterhouse." "Let them scan," Sora replied. He didn't blink. His silver eyes reflected the flickering neon of the city outskirts. "They expect a frantic beast. Give them a ghost instead." Vardan reached into a crate at the back of the truck and pulled out a heavy tactical cloak made of lead-lined weave. He threw it to Sora. The fabric was cold and heavy. It was designed to mask thermal and biological signatures from Corvin drones.

My Lover Drowned Me For Greed: I'm Back To Make Him Suffer

My Lover Drowned Me For Greed: I'm Back To Make Him Suffer

Designed by Arthur Vance to look like a standard corporate reclamation transport, the vehicle was reinforced with military-grade ballistic plating and equipped with a localized active-stealth cloak. Vivian adjusted the collar of her sleek, charcoal-gray logistics uniform. It was a flawless replica of a high-tier Kane Group executive outfit, complete with the gold-threaded lapel pins that signified uninhibited trade clearance. At her hip sat her compact, suppressed sidearm, hidden beneath the folds of the tailored fabric.

I completed my dressing with the dragon stone necklace after putting on the cloak round my neck. I remembered how Richard and Bryon had suddenly turn invisible the first time I met as Kedar brought in the cloak. "A magical cloak?" I asked when I saw the ominous dark looking cloak. Richard had explained that his cloak made them invisible to the eyes of people. "What?" She shot an are - you - crazy look at me. "Why do you humans take magic as some sort of game you can always toy with?" She spoke as if he wasn't on of us humans. "This is a normal cloak, it goes well with that dress of yours." She had bluntly explained before walking out the door.

The Way of the Dragon

The Way of the Dragon

"There's a protective light shield around the Great Spiritual Marrow. It's formed by the powerful figure in the Will!" "Under normal circumstances, not even a Insight warrior can break it!" "Of course, I have a way to get rid of this cloak!" "You have to know that the cloak I'm wearing can attack and defend. Its power is beyond your imagination." "It's a pity that I need a lot of treasures and ores to activate its power. That's why I want you to share some of my ores!" Did he use that cloak to break the shield? A trace of shock flashed across Zephyr Khan's heart when he heard these words.

Alpha Regan's Wolfless Luna

Alpha Regan's Wolfless Luna

It wasn't a clear view, but she could see enough to know that the guards were trying to stop someone from walking in. She squinted her eyes as she tried to focus on the person. She spotted someone in a hooded cloak. Her heart skipped. She looked again as she tried to catch the colour of the cloak. Then a guard who charged at the figure with a fire stick, illuminated the area. “Red!” Ivorie muttered as she saw the colour of the cloak. “Unveil yourself!” The guard yelled and she saw as the figure reached for its hood, ready to pull it off.

It was not only theoretically, but explicitly the hierarchy of positions of his defense. Akil, Normani and Hadd they were at the front, they wore boots with reinforced ties, sophisticated cut pants and the black blazer with side cufflinks and drawings on the wrists, with their faces covered, their hands wielding their frightening weapons, they had gloves with the coat of arms Aistarabaw gleaming like the only gold trim on her somber clothes. That was the tactic, they covered their faces now so that Normani could participate in the escort with her face and head covered, without arousing suspicion. And it was amazing that they wore cloth over their mouths, Shemagh, the fabric of military origi

She then motioned her head to the right, signaling the elf to quickly move out. "That took longer than I expected. I almost fell asleep." Jim commented with a yawn as he stood up and stretched his arms. "But I'm glad to see you again, May!" He walked towards her with a mischievous smile. Once he got closer to her, he was suddenly greeted with a dark cloak harshly thrown right in his face. "Geez, could you just give it to me nicely like a kind loving lady." The elf complained. "Which I am not." Mayari replied. "The cloak is similar to mine, casted with invisibility magic. Use it to stay out of sight."
