Ancalagon looks excited at being able to name his sister, so Ishir continues.
“We thought of several, but we narrowed it down to two, Kainda, meaning the hunter’s daughter and Cyrene, meaning a strong huntress," Ishir says.
“Cyrene. If you want my opinion, give her a name that defines who she is, not who’s daughter she is,” he says.
I turn to look at Ishir. “Cyrene it is.”
“I can’t wait to meet her,” Cal says, and he leans in, gently pressing his snout to my stomach and giving a rumbling purr.
