Iris chuckled. “Another blind date again?” she asked. Her eyes twinkled with mirth and she picked up her clothes that were lying on the floor. “Why don’t you just tell them about us? That way they’ll stop nagging you.” A small frown creased his forehead. “I don’t believe we’re in that kind of relationship that I have to tell them about us.”

“Kellan pulled his declaration. “Does he love you too?” I nod shyly and looked down, pressing my lips together. “We are already dating.” “Seriously!” Kelly’s eyes dilated and I nod as she fans herself with her hands and then looked at me sceptically. “How could that be?” Her face suddenly crumbled and her eyelid drooped. “Now I am feeling bad. “Why?” I was suddenly surprised at her sudden change of expression. “Is it because I didn’t tell you about it, I am sorry, I was going to tell you and Janet soon.”

Kelly stammered. Stacy pulled her hands. "Don't hide it from him, Kelly, say the truth." Stacy encouraged her. Mr Sky looked at the both of them. "What is she hiding from me?" He inquired, looking confused. Kelly took a deep breath and placed her hand on the wall. "Dad. I know you will hate me, and I'm sorry for hiding it all that while. Angela, she...she is my girlfriend, we are dating." Kelly dropped the bombshell and Mr Sky had to remove his glasses.

Jamil and I exchanged puzzled glances, and Jamil leaned in, asking, "What do you mean?" Kelly sighed, looking a bit uncomfortable. "I mean I don’t drink anymore." "Since when?" He grabbed her arm again and sneered, “I always suspected you two were dating—that you were cheating on me with Williams—but you denied it. Now you’re admitting it, huh? Is it because I’m about to get married to Nicole? Is that the reason?” Chloe was stunned. Kelly’s erratic behavior changed like the weather, but she didn’t want to entertain him. She snapped, “Kelly, I need to get to the office right now, so I don’t have time for this discussion. Maybe some other time—maybe never. Let go of my hand.” Kelly froze. He hadn’t expected Chloe—who used to beg for his attention—to speak to him like that. He let her go, thinking she wouldn’t dare walk away from him.
