Blood on His Hands, Vengeance in Mine

He gritted his teeth and picked up the scalpel again. Just as I sighed in relief, his phone rang with a call from Giselle.

Choosing the Outcast Alpha

Choosing the Outcast Alpha

"That's a lie!" Oren ignored him and turned the page. "The Stoneclaw Lord conspires with human merchants to smuggle forbidden drugs..." "The Ironfang Lord's eldest son is in fact the son of his younger brother..." "Enough!" several lords roared at once. Oren snapped the book shut, his eyes glinting with mockery. "My Lord, I believe the word you used was...'rabble'?" The square fell deathly silent. This was no mere band of mercenaries. This was a vast, shadowy power with a terrifying intelligence network.

Redemption Of The Rogue Luna

Redemption Of The Rogue Luna

she said, reaching for the ledger. The moment her fingers touched the cover, pain lanced through her hand. She gasped, jerking back, but it was too late. Blood welled from a tiny cut on her palm, a cut that hadn't been there before, and dripped onto the ledger's cover. The book absorbed the blood like parched earth drinking rain, then it began to glow. Silvercrest runes materialized across the cover, shifting and rearranging themselves. With a soft click, the book fell open to the first page.

Of colors and paint

Of colors and paint

Exactly 3 hours, I had to make sure like I went through a lot of trouble just to snuck out the book. After a while, I subtly went to Lyanna. I handed her the book with my burned hands- I just tranformed my hands to what they look like earlier. Lyanna worriedly asked, "What happened to your hands?" "The book can only recognize its owner so its flames burned me." "Then why would you go steal it yourself, you should've switched places with me-" Lyanna asked but then she stopped mid-sentence. Oh, is Lyanna getting a gist of it now?

The Cursed Heiress

The Cursed Heiress

POV: Iris (formerly Silver) I woke to the scent of pine and damp earth, a strange heaviness in my chest that wasn’t fear—it was unfamiliarity. My eyes blinked open to sunlight spilling across a small, rustic room, walls lined with books and faint traces of herbs. My hands… they weren’t my hands. They were strong, lean, calloused in ways I had never known, yet delicate in motion.

Biting the Hand That Fed Him

Biting the Hand That Fed Him

"Love is like a torch, burning brightly and felt deeply. But, Xander, I didn't feel your love. If I didn't feel it, it didn't exist. What's the point of talking about love now?" Why would anyone who truly loved someone repeatedly make them feel heartbroken? Natasha rushed over, shoving me. "Cynthia, you slut. How dare you speak to Xander that way?" As she pushed me, the flame, which was still flickering, burned my left hand. Before I could say anything, Xander immediately grabbed my hand, blowing on it worriedly. "Cynthia, are you okay?" He then turned to Natasha, pointing at her. "Are you crazy? Apologize to Cynthia right now!"

THE DARK LORD

THE DARK LORD

Vador finally confessed his love to Ava and now y'all know the real story I'll like to say that this book isn't just a vampire romance action book,it actually means something and I'm trying to pass a message. From the onset y'all judged Vador didn't you? He's the dark lord,he's dumb,he keeps fucking up. Well yea,now y'all know why,I want this book to go out to everyone, you have to understand not to judge and criticize people without getting to know them. So many people are going through a lot and won't even speak out about it and then we have some other people who would judge them without getting to know or understand their reasons, which would obviously make them feel bad, like so bad. I for o

Io’s Cursed Betrayal-Book 1

I begin to chant above the sound of my torrent wanting my words to be heard. For one thousand years you will rue the day you took him from me You will feel my pain one thousand times before I call you home I pause as the color red drifts into my raging waters. I have bound the power of heat from my sister Reli. As I drain her I hear her words in my head speaking to me from a vast difference. "Know the power you wield. This will not bring your peace." I ignore her as I continue to chant. As the monster I see you as you will become, battled to never know your foe

Entwined With The Alpha

Entwined With The Alpha

He ended the call after saying that. Ivan was already waiting at the study when we arrived, just as expected. Aaron fed him information about the books that I had read to him and how we saw things differently. He pointed out how it spoke about his curse, especially when I read it out loud, and I passed the books over to Ivan at his request. He placed his hands on the books to take them, and I felt a spark charge through the book to the rest of my body. I think he felt it too, because he glanced at me with intent eyes. “There are magical elements present in this book,” he said, turning to Aaron. “The magic is now wired to her, hence why she sees more than you do.”

I'm finally giving a book 5 stars. the reason is that the story is absolutely amazing! it's so captivating, and I literally fall asleep reading it because I don't want to put it down. there are several grammatical errors, but it does not take away from the book. Harvard to stanford? not good though

So far this is one of the best books I’ve read on this app, the writer is so wonderfully involved welcoming ideas and comments. Which in my opinion shows how much she appreciates her readers. The amount of descriptiveness, information and detail really helps you visualize what your reading. Thanx!!
