Ironhand Book Novels & Stories

I could feel my whole body, but I could feel the heat in my palm and I was holding something. I opened my eyes at the same time as I breathed in as if I had just breathed air again. I quickly turned to my right hand and saw there the golden stone smoking a little. It sparkles under the sun's rays and it's dazzling. I looked up and saw that I was surrounded by cursed flowers.

"Give him something with an engine, he's your man." "I'll remember that. Good morning, Xander." "Morning, Kiema." He ducked back off screen. "Ransom said you guys have some information about the book and OTIS." The energy in the room dropped like a bomb had gone off. "That bad, huh, guys?" I asked. "I guess we should start with OTIS." Asher, happy and irreverent Asher, growled low in his throat. "The Order of the Iron Serpent. You were right on the last two, Ki-Ki."

"Then you'll know this." In one swift movement he never sees coming, I explode forward. I slam into him. Drive him backward. Before anyone can react, the garrote cord hidden inside my expensive silver wristwatch snaps free and wraps around his throat. "Aahhh!" Amir screams as the gun crashes from his hand. "Drop your weapons!" I bark at his men while tightening the cord around his neck. With one kick, I send his gun skidding across the tiles until it splashes into the swimming pool.

I whispered, slamming the slagged iron down onto the open page of the leather book. The Ledger of the Scar I didn't write a line of text. I used the heat of the molten iron to burn a hole straight through the center of the manuscript. The effect was an instantaneous, systemic shockwave. The valley didn't freeze; it recoiled. The iron Enforcers froze mid-strike, their hydraulic lines locking up as the text that authorized their existence was physically incinerated in the leather book.

"That's a lie!" Oren ignored him and turned the page. "The Stoneclaw Lord conspires with human merchants to smuggle forbidden drugs..." "The Ironfang Lord's eldest son is in fact the son of his younger brother..." "Enough!" several lords roared at once. Oren snapped the book shut, his eyes glinting with mockery. "My Lord, I believe the word you used was...'rabble'?" The square fell deathly silent. This was no mere band of mercenaries. This was a vast, shadowy power with a terrifying intelligence network.

Penelope…it read. There is a book within Ironclad's library, black cover, crest in silver. It holds what you must know about who you are, about the blood that sets you apart as the twelfth wolf. Find it. When you do, I will explain everything. Until then, trust no one. Not even those who claim to love you. -Father

Exactly 3 hours, I had to make sure like I went through a lot of trouble just to snuck out the book. After a while, I subtly went to Lyanna. I handed her the book with my burned hands- I just tranformed my hands to what they look like earlier. Lyanna worriedly asked, "What happened to your hands?" "The book can only recognize its owner so its flames burned me." "Then why would you go steal it yourself, you should've switched places with me-" Lyanna asked but then she stopped mid-sentence. Oh, is Lyanna getting a gist of it now?

POV: Iris (formerly Silver) I woke to the scent of pine and damp earth, a strange heaviness in my chest that wasn’t fear—it was unfamiliarity. My eyes blinked open to sunlight spilling across a small, rustic room, walls lined with books and faint traces of herbs. My hands… they weren’t my hands. They were strong, lean, calloused in ways I had never known, yet delicate in motion.

"Love is like a torch, burning brightly and felt deeply. But, Xander, I didn't feel your love. If I didn't feel it, it didn't exist. What's the point of talking about love now?" Why would anyone who truly loved someone repeatedly make them feel heartbroken? Natasha rushed over, shoving me. "Cynthia, you slut. How dare you speak to Xander that way?" As she pushed me, the flame, which was still flickering, burned my left hand. Before I could say anything, Xander immediately grabbed my hand, blowing on it worriedly. "Cynthia, are you okay?" He then turned to Natasha, pointing at her. "Are you crazy? Apologize to Cynthia right now!"

My hands touched Carson’s chest, and I immediately felt a burning sensation in my hands. Pulling them back, I look down to see them blister from the heat. He must be in so much pain, if I am experiencing this so quickly, I think to myself. Steeling myself for the task at hand, I place my hands back where they were. I ignore the burning in my palms, as I follow the flow of silver trying to destroy it as I go.
