Pinalis ko ang luha ko at mag-isang ngumiti sa harap ng mga taong masaya para sa amin. Kumikirot ang dibdib ko sa likod ng aking mga ngiti. Daig ko pa ang sinaksak, ngunit hindi ko pinahalata. "Saan pupunta ang asawa mo?" inosenteng tanong ng isang matanda. Ngumiti ako, ngunit hindi na nagbigay ng pagsasalita. "Baka excited lang," mapanukso ng isa.
