He was called salty. As Georgia sat in her newly green car with her cat and all her worldly possessions, it was her father who first came out on the porch and stood there watching her. Then her mother drifted out anxiously. Georgia opened the car door, and Minny spat some disparaging sound at Georgia before she hoped down to weave her gracful way to Felicia. Her father wobbled the railing to test it's strength, and finding it stable, leaned against it and waited. They knew something was wrong.
