One time at work I'd even heard a co-worker called me the-Squidward-from-spongebob. Exactly why I hated them. That morning I'd just gotten up and, traditionally, said my good mornings to Sam triple zero eight, then the story stroke up. We were having a conversation of a book I'd just finished reading, 'No, Mr Harry Botter, do not turn me into a witch.' Believe me, it was a real book alright. The author was named Harry Botter, so he was the main character of his novel. Stories like that, what do they call them again? Paranormal stories, they were always fun to read. Partly because they were stupid, other part, they were nonsense. Nothing but ridiculous lies.

“Oh my god! You got me the Harry Potter Series!” I rushed to the bookshelf and grabbed a copy of ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’. It was the only book I had read in the series and I had fallen in love with it. I had promised myself that I would buy more but I never got the money. “Yeah, girl,” she said smugly, “and I got you some others you might like…” I saw the other books and my jaw dropped. It was almost all the books on my reading wish list.

“Well, I wouldn’t say that I don’t know anything, but I’m still learning.” He reached up and flicked his ear with a smile. “Goblins don’t have pointed ears, we’re also normal-sized, just like you. House elves don’t even exist, so I’m guessing you’re thinking about those little critters from the wizard movies, what are they called?” “Harry Potter, and they were books first. Really good books, by the way, if you’re a reader.” I could feel my face burning with embarrassment. “Muffler breath? Read? Ha! That’s a good one!” Jade said as she set a drink down in front of him.

Then I looked around some more and picked up Floca’s Moonshot: The Flight of Apollo 11, Lewis’s The Wolf, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, and Dahl’s Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and a few others. I paused at the Harry Potter series, but while the girls were old enough, being werewolves, for the story, I knew the sizes of the books would put them off. Next year, I thought. They’d have handled textbooks by then and wouldn’t be so rapidly opposed to books an inch thick or more.

I knew Mey had asked me to read the Goblet of Fire to figure out the three unforgivable curses, but after picking the book randomly, I felt that I owed it to the author to read it from the first book. So I had picked up Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone from the library yesterday, finished the book in seven hours, and had it returned this morning. Rowling right?” I nodded again,” This world is not her creation, it already exists. She wrote the book according to her experiences in this wizarding world, all the characters and places are real. He opened the book, flipped through the pages until he found the page he was reading. "I know you for a year now. I think I know one or two things about you. One of it is that you don't read, especially a book." I picked up the bottle of beer from the ground and took a sip.

“All kinds of books. I’ve ready fantasy, romance and everything in between. I’ve read Harry Potter probably more times than I can count.” “Harry Potter?” I chuckle. “Don’t diss on Harry Potter or I’ll turn this horse around.” I chuckle at her threat. “Do you read?” “I do, probably not as much as you but I do. I tend to stick to fantasy stories like The Hobbit or the Game of Thrones series.”
